I've given you Halloween costume ideas if you're going the sexy route as well as the couples route, but what do you think of the whole dressing up as a couple concept? I've actually never done it before, but if you get creative, I think it could be really fun! Cliché costumes on the other hand, tend to be cheesy and just kind of annoying. Are you with me on this one? Where do you stand on dressing up on Halloween with your significant other in a couples costume?

Getting sexy for Halloween is fun, but getting a date and going with a theme can be really fun too. Since the plug and socket is overdone, I've come up with a few new and creative costume ideas for couples, so check them out below!

Naughty '50s Housewife and a Post Man - Go ahead and make fun of a silly stereotype!
Ball and Chain - A couple's classic, but not as popular as the plug and socket.
Hillbilly Honeymooners - All you need are a couple of beer helmets and some flip-flops.
Mario and the Princess - Everyone always does Mario and Luigi, but I never see the Princess.
Any of the couples from The Office - This is for those of you who really like to get into character!

Plumber and a Faulty Pipe - It might not be the sexiest costume, but it's kinky.
Heidi and Spencer, of The Hills - This is fun because you can have an excuse to get in every picture!
Freudian Slip - He's Freud; you wear a slip. Easy and creative.
Go as each other - My absolute favorite if you're going out with mutual friends.

Are "Couples" Halloween Costumes Cute or Corny?

As a child, I was very into Halloween. So even now, I still get myself to a bar or party every Halloween, and I always dress up.

Some couples go their separate ways when dressing for Halloween, while other mates opt for couples Halloween costumes. If I happen to be with someone when Oct. 31 rolls around, I make it a point to plan our costumes so they match. One year, I was a bee and my boyfriend was a beekeeper (aww). What do you think: Is dressing up with your significant other cute or corny? Please share in the comments.

Group Therapy: I Left Jewelry at the House of a One Night Stand!

A couple of months ago I had a one night stand with an older bachelor. It was after a crazy night of drinking and when I woke up, all I wanted to do was get out of his disgusting apartment as quickly as possible. I couldn't find the ring I was wearing and mentioned it to him, but left without it. Since that night he's contacted me a couple of times and expressed an interest in taking me out, however I have no desire to see him ever again. But, over the weekend, he sent me an email telling me he had found my ring! Although the ring was costume jewelry (it was a gift from my mom), I would like it back. What's the best way to go about this? Can I ask him to mail it to me? Should I have him drop it through my mail slot? Should I meet him somewhere? What's the etiquette for something like this?

It's True! Benjamin Franklin to Marry Betsy Ross on July 3

No, you're not misremembering US history, this is actually happening next month. Two actors well known for their portrayals of Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross are engaged and are planning a very public, very patriotic ceremony on the steps of Independence Hall on July 3. The entire wedding party will be in costume - I want an invitation to this one!

The couple met after she hired him for a friend's wedding toast. "Ben Franklin" had initially declined, saying he doesn't "do weddings," but she begged and he relented and they announced their engagement this Spring.

Considering the famous Franklin quote "Marriage is the most natural state of man, and . . . the state in which you will find solid happiness," the couple will be in for many happy years.

No official word, but the chances of Betsy Ross donning the award-winning wedding dress constructed completely out of toilet paper (being displayed now in Times Square) are slim. The nuptials may just be a red, white, and blue extravaganza for the history books.

I'm not sure what any of these weird college scholarships have to do with scholastic achievement. They're not in any particular order of weirdness.

American Fire-Sprinkler Association Scholarship

Eligibility: You must write an essay about a successful fire sprinkler activation in your town, area or state.
Amount: Seven awards of up to $3,000

Duck Brand Duct Tape "Stuck at Prom" Scholarship Contest

Eligibility: Awarded to a couple attending a high school prom that makes the best costume out of Duct Tape.
Amount: Three main awards with up to $3,000 for each member of the couple.
The K2TEO Martin J. Green Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Preference given to a student ham from a Ham (amateur radio) family.
Amount: $1,000
New England Chapter-National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a single New England high school senior who is overweight, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Must study in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont.
