I think most of us have a celebrity pass — you know, that one person you're allowed to sleep with and have it not count as cheating. Though it's fun to joke about stuff like that since the opportunity will most likely never present itself, if it did, do you think you'd really go through with it? Cheating is cheating in my book, and as painful as it would be to turn down Ben Affleck, I honestly would if I was in a committed relationship.

If you are married, or in a relationship, do you have an agreement with your partner that if you ever got the chance to have sex with your favorite celebrity, it wouldn't count as cheating? Many families toned down their Christmas celebrations last year, and now that another holiday is just around the corner, reports are saying that flashy Valentine's Day celebrations are considered equally ostentatious. Keeping their pocketbooks in mind, many couples are opting for restaurants that serve home-style comfort foods instead of restaurants that have pricey prix fixe menus, in addition to passing on those expensive bouquets of roses in lieu of more reasonably priced arrangements.
It all makes sense to me, but tell me, are you toning down your Valentine's Day celebration this year, too?

If you follow New York Times columnist Nicolas Kristof on Twitter, you know George Clooney is currently visiting Darfur. Kristof shared with the Internet that he and George are currently not showering while they visit the war-torn region.
Tonight on NBC Nightly News, George shared his hopes for the region with Ann Curry.

Gay people around the US want to literally call attention to the restrictions of their rights, and they've organized Day Without a Gay to do so. On Dec. 10, International Human Rights Day, gay workers are being encouraged to “call in gay” to work, and spend their time volunteering instead.

My best friend asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and of course, I accepted without hesitation. The maid of honor and my best friend's mother planned the bachelorette party, but only days before the scheduled party date. The other bridesmaids live several hours away and because of the last-minute planning were unable to come.

China put on a spectacular goodbye to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. David Beckham and a red double-decker bus made appearances, helping China pass the torch to London, which will hold the games in 2012. David wasn't the only star shining among the many fireworks; Leona Lewis and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page also entertained the athletes and spectators.
