Alex Loves Whit's Fake Sand Boobs on Last Night's Whitney

Last night on Whitney, Whit gets a fake sand push-up bra from work and shows off her new busty figure to boyfriend Alex (played by comedian Chris D'Elia). At first the pair joke about the new look and have a little fun with it in the bedroom, but after Alex makes it clear he really likes the fake boobs, Whitney starts to get self-conscious about her small chest. When she asks him to explain, Alex makes the huge mistake of saying he likes the curvy look because it's "like being with a different woman" and that "sometimes you get sick of the same body."

While Alex fails miserably (and hilariously) at getting his point across, can you relate to wanting something new and different from your partner? There are plenty of breast creams on the market, all designed to lift and firm the breast area. Even Lush has joined in on the boob product brigade, with its recent launch of Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream, ($23), which promises to "keep your knockers in t*t top shape." Groan.

Krissy over at OnSugar blog addicted to all things pretty recently weighed in, saying, "I've never considered using a breast cream. I use an eye cream so why shouldn't I use a breast cream? I invest in good bras. I do self-breast exams. Do I need to invest in breast creams?" What do you think? Are breast creams something you file away into unnecessary and questionable beauty categories, or are they at least worth a try?

Would a Silicone-Free Boob Job Tempt You to Go Under the Knife?

First it was injecting unwanted fat into your breasts, and now a British cosmetic surgeon is in on the movement to make boob jobs less plastic; a trend that includes using stem cells to grow the additional tissue. Professor Laurence Kirwan is taking the tissue from under the breast and placing it above the nipple, creating a more natural-looking breast augmentation. He claims to have completed 150 successful operations, and that his technique is more permanent than silicone implants.

"What I do is to move around some of their assets to produce the best effect. What we are doing is moving tissue so that the skin is tightened below, pushing the breast up and filling it out."

The operation takes about three to three-and-a-half hours and will cost you a pretty penny: between about $12,000 and $18,000.

For me, the most natural-looking breasts are those not altered by surgery. But what do you think? Is the only thing stopping you from enhancing your cleavage the fear of looking too fake?

Do You Love Your Stretch Marks as Much as Jessica Alba?

Honor Warren may layer on the accessories just like her famous mama, but there are a few items that Jessica Alba's daughter isn't likely to be sporting soon. The actress, who returns to the silver screen next month in her first movie since the birth of 19-month-old Honor, waxed poetically to Self about the battle wounds she bares from her pregnancy. In the February issue of the magazine, Alba discusses her ability to ignore her stretch marks and deflated breasts.

"Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I've ever had, so I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I'll take the cellulite I can never get rid of. If you walk around with your head held high and you’re happy and positive, then all that other stuff is irrelevant. Confidence is number one."

Alba may embrace her postpartum body, but plenty of women don't. Have you just accepted the markings of your pregnancies, or would you consider procedures to remove them?

Move Fat From Your Booty to Your Breasts?

Breasts come in all shapes and sizes, but some women are just not happy with what nature gave them, or how experience (read: breast feeding ) and age have affected their chest. Some women opt for breast implants if they feel the need to augment their natural shape, but there's also a controversial procedure available for those who want to add just a little volume. It's kind of a two-for-one procedure that goes like this: body fat is removed from areas where it is plentiful, such as the booty or thighs, via liposuction and injected into breast tissue.

Concerns that re-planted fat could harden and calcify, making mammograms difficult to read, led to a couple of studies to investigate the issue. To learn what the studies found and how effective the injection technique is,

One recent study found that no abnormalities appeared on mammograms, and it was actually easier to see breast tissue in breasts that were augmented with fat injections as compared to implants. Another study of 50 women, who had fat from their thighs injected into their breasts, found that the women's bust measurement only increased by a small amount. That means more injections would be needed in order to achieve the desired size, so overall, this procedure takes more time than surgical implants. The fat injection technique is pricier as well.

Add to the discussion the fact that doctors aren't sure how much fat is needed to enlarge breasts to the desired size. The fat needs to develop a blood supply and if it doesn't, it dies and goes away. If it does develop a blood supply, the only issue then is that when a woman gains weight, her breasts will grow, and if she loses weight, her breasts will shrink.

The bottom line is that although this procedure seems like a dream come true, it's expensive, time-consuming, and may not provide expected results. Maybe don't mess with Mother Nature, but invest in a good bra?
