Most psychologists say there's no significant correlation between birth order and personality because it's impossible to control other variables, like a family's financial status, age differences, natural temperaments, marriage quality of parents, gender, and other endless factors. Still, they're as irresistible as horoscopes. We look to birth order not only because it's definite and measurable, but also because we see evidence of its effects in nearly every family we examine.

Hey.
I've been on the pill before and have since moved abroad and had to stop taking it as I would need a doctors approval down here all over again, and since I am not yet a citizen it makes it very difficult and expensive for me to schedule an appointment.
Then I saw some online sites such as Drugshipper.com that have Yasmin birth control pills available for shipping, I was wondering if any of you have done this before and if you think its safe for me to do, I've never really heard of getting them over the internet before.

On Wednesday, the FDA announced that Plan B, the morning-after pill, will be available without a prescription to women 17 and older. Plan B is essentially a high dose of birth control pills that both stops ovulation and decreases the chance a fertilized egg will attach to the uterus. When used within 72 hours after unprotected sex, it can lower the risk of pregnancy by almost 90 percent.

Just about every woman I know is on, or has been on, the pill. And even if it's not your preferred method of birth control, we can all agree on two things: it prevents us from getting pregnant, and it can regulate our periods. I'm sure you've heard other "facts" about the pill too, but not all of them are true.

Of all the birth control options, aside from abstinence, the pill is the best choice if you want to prevent pregnancy. It claims to be about 97 to 99 percent effective, which is just about perfect. Still, some women say they have accidentally gotten pregnant while using the pill, even though they used it correctly (with no missed pills).

If you've ever had a yeast infection, you know that it's not something you want to go through again. The good news is that you can do a lot to keep the healthy bacteria below your waist at a normal level, like wearing cotton undies, loose fitting pants, and avoiding douching altogether.
Staying dry down there is crucial in order to avoid the annoyance of a yeast infection, but that can be tough if you're a sexually active person.

I'm with you; there really is no perfect form of birth control. Either you have to deal with taking hormones that affect your mood and decrease your sex drive, or you have to use condoms, which can make sex less enjoyable. You can also chart your cycle, but one little mistake and you can end up with an unplanned pregnancy.

When it comes to using hormonal birth control, the NuvaRing is one of the easiest. Since you keep the two-inch flexible ring inside you for three weeks at a time, you only have to think about it twice a month — when you insert it and when you remove it, in order to get your period. But since it's not something you have to bother with every day like you do the pill, it can be easy to forget about altogether.
