Nov 13 2009 - 10:00am A popular nightclub in Australia has
decided to ban "metrosexuals" in an attempt to curb violence. Apparently a certain style of dress is enough to start a bar fight.
On the list of forbidden clothing items you will find low-cut v-neck t-shirts, skinny jeans, pointy white shoes, popped collars, and Ed Hardy tops.

I want to hang out at that bar! I hate popped collars!! and everything on the rest of the list!
1My pet peeve is baggy clothing and when they wear their baseball caps backwards. Oh and sweatpants on a guy in public make me feel murderous. Just dress neatly!
2dirty fingernails
3oversized belt buckles
Ed Hardy = metrosexual? I always thought of metrosexuals as straight guys who were really into clothes and dressed kinda gay. Not chaps or something, but Paul Smith suits, Ted Baker, stuff like that.
Ed Hardy, Smet, True Religion jeans...that's more like, well, douche or tool
4Pretty much everything that has been mentioned here already, plus the dreaded boxers hanging out. That is the worst.
5-White guys who try to dress like rap stars. I don't want to sound racist or anything, but only black men can pull that look off. Actually, I think it always looks stupid, but it looks a lot more so on white boys.
6-Ed Hardy. Nuff said.
-Gross sayings on tee-shirts. I kid you not, I saw some guy walking around the grocery store the other day with a tee shirt that said, "I may not be Mr. Right, but I'll f*ck you until he shows up." Ugh.
Pants hanging off the b*tt-crack! Pull yer darn pants up boy because you will not like it when I do it for you!
And clothes purely worn to "be ironic".
7Comic book t-shirts have to go.
8No offense to any people who live there.. but just about all the clothing North Jersey guys wear. Along with their spiked up Guido hair.
9OH. tshirts on grown men with "funny" statements or pictures.
10Skinny jeans, low v-necks, saggying/oversized clothes.
11girl pants on guys, tight tight t shirts with striped belts on fat guys.
12trucker hats worn semi-sideways, a la Ashton Kutcher.
13Ha, there's a club here in Braunschweig, Germany that suddenly had a sign in the bathroom anouncing people in Ed Hardy clothing would not be granted entrance anymore! Loved that!
14ANYthing that looks like he is trying too hard. Ed Hardy--definitely. That stuff was on its way outta style early last year anyway. I just get turned off when guys look like they care waaaay too much what they look like. Find a happy medium!
15Men who take steroids and wear shirts wayyyyyyy too tight for them!!
16This is awesome. I also agree with just about everything else being mentioned here. Ed Hardy clothes are the worst.
17obviously ed hardy, boxers hanging out, popped collars, baseball caps with the stickers left on, the blazer and jean look, and wearing the wrong kind of shoes for an outfit.
18oh, and guys that wear logo shirts. oh, you got your shirt at american eagle, good for you!
(does not apply to polo shirts)
191. manpris - like capris, but for men. no.
202. men wearing headbands. also, no.
3. skinny jeans on guys.
4. not exactly clothing, but eyeliner. let it go, pete wentz.
5. truker hats at all
6. no undershirts
7. undershirts AS the shirt
8. jeans below the butt --- pull 'em up !
9. generally looking like a wrinkled mess.
i agree with everything above and would like to add "chinstrap" facial hair, any hair dye on a guy is a big no-no, tight jeans with big sneakers, oversized baseball caps with the straight/flat visor, flashy jewelry, shirts so tight i can see their nipples through them (think under armour), baggy pants... that's all for now.
21running, guys really wear capris? Yikes!
22Um, I agree with the first part about the first look but you forgot the spiked gelled hair. But the last part... the guys wearing nice-ass jeans with a normal shirt... that's dumb. That is actually a nice look. Power jeans are sexy and are in style for a reason. Women aren't the only ones who can have style
23the absolute worst has to be when guys wear super tight lycra shirts, that is just wrong!!!
24I agree with everything that has been said (especially the eyeliner, Ed Hardy, and boxers hanging out).
25Men in skinny pants is just WRONG!!!
26Any guy sporting a soul patch....thank God they are pretty much over. I know it isn't clothing, but all of those guys looked like they had miniature bikini waxes on their chins.
UGGGH.
27Thank you dfserine!!
28Popped collars
29Daggy jeans
Underwear sticking out
Sweatpants + flip flops. (URGH)
Dirty nails/hands/feet/body (Take a shower)
Sexist tee shirts.
Ed Hardy, all the way.
30guys wearing pink. yuk!
311)long fingernails
322)same pink lacoste shirt everyday
3)super distressed (and tight) jeans
After all, calvin klein's the sexiest.
33I'm over boat shoes on guys my age. Please, I don't want to date someone that dresses like my dad.
34Autumns- what do you have against "Daggy" jeans?
35Men in flip flops when they're not at the beach.
36Men in jeans with writing, bleaching, or bedazzling on them.
Anyone wearing Hollister or "surf style" in a land locked state.
MEN'S SKINNY JEANS. EWWWW!!!
37But men's skinny t-shirts looking cool.
guys fashion underwear
38Skinny jeans, bedazzled things, and the newest one for me is pastel-coloured polo shirts, especially when they are too tight.
39anything abercrombie, american eagle or hollister. I cannot even begin to explain.
40White shoes are terrible also.
And i just generally hate anything that looks hip hopish, I find it entertaining to look at i guess but in general i just don't get do rags, and "bling" and bright colored sneakers. I would definitely never give a guy like that the time of day.
T-shirts with metallics on them...ugh
Actually I think i just dislike it when men take a specific style and go overboard be it hip hop, hipster, preppy, american eagle douche, guyliner rocker, "surfer dude", and so on. It just seems contrived.
