You've been dating a great guy for six months. Today is your anniversary and you're celebrating at your favorite restaurant, just the two of you. You had a busy work week and before you know it, the day's completely gotten away from you.

My parent's 32nd wedding anniversary is next week and although my dad may not be the best at remembering to pick up trash bags at the grocery store, he's good at remembering the important things like birthdays and anniversaries. It was my mom this year who actually said to me midsentence on a completely separate topic, "Oh my gosh, it's our anniversary next week, I almost forgot!!" Although I think celebrating marriage anniversaries can be an important way to keep the romance alive, I’m not one to make a fuss over a relationship anniversary. Dear Sugar--
My girlfriend and I have just had our 3 year anniversary, problem is, she was expecting a material present (we hadn't gotten each other material presents since before last November) and a special day. I had only planned a dinner and did not finish her present in time.
So right now, she's feeling very disappointed and just can't shake it.

Dear Sugar,
My fourth wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of this month. Every year, my husband and I try to take a vacation around this holiday. The problem is I plan the trip every year but have a lot going on with work right now and the stress of planning is just too overwhelming.
