The Sonoma Marin World's Ugliest Dog Contest 2007 was held this past Friday, and the winner is Elwood, a Chinese Crested with "lots of personality." With a face that looks like it was drawn by Picasso in his "drunk period," Elwood even makes snorting noises! The people who love these fug dogs are pretty adorable.

Remember Sam, "The World's Ugliest Dog"? Well, here's some rare video footage of him doing what he did best-- that is, sittin' pretty with his trim, hairless frame and collection of warts, blackheads, and broken teeth. Although his eyes have a slightly possessed appeal to them here, I half expect him to stick out that slobbery tongue and ask, "Wazzzap?"
