Last night on Mad Men, dapper Don Draper has to go to Rome on business, and seemingly on a whim, Betty asks if she can accompany him.
Once they're in Rome, something happens to Betty. She glams it up, flirts with Don, and their stultifying marriage seems to get an erotic adrenaline shot to the heart.

Whether you're single and looking to mingle or getting away from it all with the old ball and chain, vacations can be highly conducive to good sex. But just because Summer travel season is over doesn't mean the fun should be too. Do you get more action on vacation?

A friend told me last night that every year of her childhood, her family went to Toronto for vacation. For some reason, Toronto as a vacation spot surprised me, but then she said it was a city where her parents spent a lot of time before they had kids. They loved it and wanted their children to love it, too.

Being paired up comes with some perks — and whisking each other away on a romantic getaway is one of the best! Ditching your routine for some relaxation and adventure, while sneaking in the kisses and hand-holding you never have time for, makes for a lovely vacation.
If you could jet somewhere with a love interest, be it a budding relationship or a long-term lover, where would you go?

Dear Sugar,
My fourth wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of this month. Every year, my husband and I try to take a vacation around this holiday. The problem is I plan the trip every year but have a lot going on with work right now and the stress of planning is just too overwhelming.

We all know that living with someone brings a completely new level of understanding to the relationship. You learn how the other person lived when you weren't around, and it becomes as clear as day whether or not you're a compatible couple. There are other circumstances that conquer the same goal though, and one that I find very telling is vacationing together, from conception to completion.

Dear Sugar,
I really dislike my job; I might even go as far as saying I hate it. I work for a hotel at the front desk, and not only do I have to deal with rude guests all day, but I have to deal with rude and inconsiderate co-workers as well. I have been with the company for over a year, but I've never felt appreciated and I dread going to work every day.

Over the weekend, John Mayer was spotted in Cabo without his new girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston. Seems as though he was relaxing with his band mates and while I understand that distance can make the heart grow fonder, I have to say that I'd have hurt feelings if I were in her shoes. Of course, we don't know the circumstances in this situation, but how would you feel if your significant other went on a celebratory vacation without you when everyone else's wives/girlfriends were there?

Dear Sugar,
I have a guy friend who asked me to be his guest on an all-expenses paid trip next weekend. We have been friends for about a year, but I'm curious to see if it will develop into something more while we're away. I've always been very attracted to him, so how can I tell if he's into me too?

I like alone time, but the idea of going on a vacation by myself, even for a weekend, kind of scares me. So when a friend recently told me that she was planning a solo trip to France, I thought she was kidding. Imagining someone traveling alone just for the sake of being alone seemed incomprehensible.
