This particular episode of Sesame Street was brought to us by the letter "F." In keeping with the theme of the program, the Cookie Monster was to use a word beginning with the letter "F" to describe the fabulously fantastic cookie in his hand. One of Jimmy Kimmel's censors, however, didn't approve of the Cookie Monster's word choice and gave him the *bleep*.

Mr. Rogers dedicated his life to the provision of wholesome programming to educate young people, inspire their imaginations, and foster a healthy curiosity of the world around them. Enter Jimmy Kimmel.

Alanis Morissette disappeared there for a while, but reemerged with a shorter 'do and a sense of humor. Last April Fools' Day, she debuted her version of "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. It made me cringe and chuckle all at once.

Sesame Street's Count von Count may not have deserved to get censored, but Dr. Phil is another story. (We've seen what he calls "counseling" and methinks we can manage without it, thanks.) Most of the shows and peeps below didn't need to be *bleep*ed, but Jimmy Kimmel *bleeped*ed them anyway — cuz *bleep*ing is fun, no?

A couple of ad guys had a boring product on their hands, so they went online and made a viral vid to promote the product— without making any mention of the product. Ridiculous or genius? You decide.

Earlier this week, we voted on the "only for grown-ups" disclaimer now added to old-school Sesame Street episodes. An overwhelming majority of you considered this disclaimer to be outlandish and unnecessary. As we've learned in the past, unnecessary censorship does a darn good job of adding innuendo where it previously never existed.

Jimmy Kimmel is back with more of his unnecessary censorship. It's funny how the mind will jump to the dirtiest of assumptions when given the opportunity to fill in the blank. What's not funny is when it involves any of the "Sesame Street" clan.

Jimmy Kimmel's unnecessary censorship has been a popular segment on his late-night talk show for a year now. If you've missed out, here's the best of the best for your viewing pleasure and it's a wholesome good time-- that is, until Mr. Rogers gets *bleeped up. Then it's just WRONG.
