Is there a twin phobia? Because if there is, the person with twinphobia had better not step on this subway train! Improv Everywhere staged another one of their amazing public happenings. This time, they got sets of twins to board a subway car and sit opposite each other to see how people would react. Too cool. (Thanks, College Humor!)

Spanish Twins, Separated at Birth, Sue for Millions

You know that movie Big Business where Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin play twins switched at birth? This is like that, but in Spain - and with a lawsuit. What happened?

In 1973, a set of identical twins were accidentally separated at birth. One of the twins was allegedly removed from her crib shortly after birth and accidentally replaced with another girl. To see how they figured out what happened read more.

Fast forward to 2001, a woman was working in a clothing shop in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, and was shocked when one of her regular customers and frequent shoppers suddenly claimed to have no recollection of ever shopping at her store or of knowing who the clerk was. When the same woman walked by a second time, the store employee asked if she would indulge her by meeting someone who often shopped in the store. The two identical women eventually met, setting in motion a very odd legal case currently taking place.

The attorney representing the real twins defended their case: "The first right of any child is the right to their own personal and family identity. In this case, that right has been violated." The reunited twins are now suing for millions in damages along with the woman who was mistakenly raised in place of the missing twin.

Do they have a case? Was it a simple accident, or a life-ruining event?

Twins be nimble, twins be quick, twins pull off a pretty bad ass trick. While peering through a window, one gal mimics her identical looking counterpart in a public restroom, leading other users to assume there's a mirror in front of them. When they fail to find themselves in that "mirror," the ~~fun~~ paranoia begins. (Even when they're playing practical jokes, Germans get all existential and shit...)

Dear Sugar,

I've been talking to this guy for a year now, but he is not officially my boyfriend. I love him and care for him and he feels the same for me. We go out and spend a lot of quality time together. He has a twin, and I see him a lot since we spend a lot of time at family gatherings.

Last weekend his twin and I went to a bar and had some drinks. That following week we spent a lot of time chatting over the internet and to cut to the chase, this weekend we ended up sleeping together. We promised not to tell his brother, but I fear that at one point it could slip out. Should I tell his brother who I deeply love? Or should I keep it as our little secret?

Dear Confused and Torn Tara,

Since you are not officially dating or committed to either brother, then you didn't technically do anything wrong like cheat. However, when the first brother finds out, I'm sure he'll feel hurt and betrayed. You said that you love and care for the brother that you didn't sleep with, so I'm wondering if you feel that what happened was really a mistake, or if deep down you're really in love with him.

This is a really sticky situation because now that both brothers are involved, when you choose one of them (and you will need to choose), the other brother's feelings will definitely be hurt. Plus family gatherings are going to be very awkward since everyone will know what's going on.

As difficult as it may be, you can't keep this a secret. Be honest and talk to each brother individually. Telling the truth is the right thing to do here but realize that you could end up alone after everything is said and done. There are going to be hurt feelings all the way around so try to be understanding of everyone's reaction. I hope everything works out, Tara.

Triplet peeps is more like it. I know nothing about Janelle and Jalynne Dantzscher, but they are apparently twin gymnasts, and they attended the premiere of In Search of a Midnight Kiss. When I saw the red carpet photo, I totally did a double-take: Wait, is that Jamie Lynn Spears? Posing with a Jamie Lynn Spears lookalike?! Jalynne, Jamie Lynn - mere coincidence?

They may not look exactly alike, but Chuck Norris and Danny Bonaduce could pass as fraternal twins. Stretch Danny's face down a little, so all the features are elongated, and the resemblance is uncanny! (Or perhaps the air of desperation surrounding each looks identical?)
