Tragedy: The All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees

I remember the first time I heard this kind of musical chairs genre mixing. I was at a club in San Francisco and the opening act was a chamber orchestra tribute band for - wait for it - Duran Duran. Somehow, their slow, ponderous songs ("Save a Prayer," anyone?) really worked for string, woodwind and brass instruments. Which brings me to the awesomely named Tragedy, the all metal tribute band for the disco era Bee Gees. (And the guy kinda sounds like Axl Rose!)

Oh Snap! Beatlemania Invades Abbey Road

It was 20 40 years ago today when the Beatles sauntered across a crosswalk on Abbey Road to shoot one of the most iconic album covers of all time. Today in London, fans flocked to the famous intersection to celebrate the anniversary. A Beatles tribute band mingled with throngs of Beatlemaniacs, who posed for photos and signed the wall of Abbey Road studios. Check out the crazy gallery below.

Tiffani Thiessen Too Busy For SBTB Reunion, Hearts Break

When Mark-Paul Gosselaar conducted an entire interview on Jimmy Fallon's talk show as the one and only Zach Morris, I got my hopes up that we might soon see a full-on Bayside High reunion on late-night TV. Well, ~~Kelly Kapowski~~ Tiffani Thiessen has crushed my dreams. In this Funny or Die video, Tiffani explains why she's too busy for a Saved by the Bell reunion. She has better stuff to do like film live-action cat videos, sing in an Indigo Girls tribute band, and smoke pot.

I've been waiting to hear this! After we checked out the candidates' favorite songs last week, some of you commented on Obama putting a song written for him on his top 10 - and McCain has a tribute song of his own!

Country singer John Rich of the Big & Rich Country band and Nashville Star, debuted "Raisin' McCain" live at an event earlier this month. As a "fight" song, it didn't get to me quite the way this one always does, but pretty cool nonetheless.

Funny or Scary? Skull Face Tattoo

This misguided youth from Montreal decided to tattoo a skull on his face as a tribute to the punk band Misfits. (I thought Canadians were famous for being normal? I guessed wrong). He works at a convenience store, which I imagine eliminates the need for store security. It must be really creepy to buy beer and cigarettes from this guy. Yikes.
