Meet December's Top Talker!
Last month, we took a look back at all the biggest and best headlines of 2008, discussed the paparazzi's love for the Obamas while they vacationed in Hawaii, and witnessed a violent conflict erupt in Gaza. During the eventful month, you all offered insightful comments and engaged in some lively debates. But just like in the Minnesota senate race, there must be a December top talker winner!

October was an exciting month on CitizenSugar — we watched Palin and Biden face off, then watched McCain and Obama go head-to-head in a town hall debate and finally, tuned in for the last debate before Election Day.
Many of you joined us day after day to discuss the debates, campaigns and news, but one of you left more comments than anyone else. Think you know who it is?
Meet September's Top Talker!
After watching Sarah Palin's fiery debate performance the other night, I realized it was time to tally up another month's worth of fantastic comments. Since September started with the Republican National Convention, I was in a "red" state of mind when I started counting, and I decided a nice glass of red would be the perfect accompaniment to my counting. As the numbers mounted I realized my glass of wine may have just predicted the Top Talker, whether or not she can currently enjoy one herself.

Phew! Between speeches this week, I was furiously counting up the fantastic comments from August. Mid-count, the super-duper Top Talker made a comment about the handmade signs at the RNC — and crazily I was able to capture this scene, just for him/her.

As I sat counting up all of your sensational comments for the month of July, I found my mind wandering to campaign finance reform (hey, it's an occupational hazard . . .) and thinking, I know there's a maximum personal contribution to candidates, and then I thought "there's one profession that gets well paid enough to max out in every election — modeling."

With my abacus in one hand fastidiously toting up June's comments, I got to thinking, "you know what this campaign needs? More puppets." Suzanne is one of GiggleSugar's top talkers and a dynamo on wheels. (That picture below of her with comedian/talk show host Craig Ferguson occurred when she sneaked out of her daughter's bridal rehearsal dinner to attend a book signing so she could meet him. Ha!) She's a riot.
