Were you glued to your TV last night like I was, watching the season premiere of Top Chef? This show is one of my favorites, and I've always thought it'd be a great one to watch with a significant other. Unlike most reality shows, its main focus is on the craft — the food — and the drama that follows is just the icing on the cake!

Newly released files show that famous chef Julia Child was a World War-II era spy. The CIA declassified 35,000 top-secret personnel files that detailed the huge spy network run by the OSS, which later became the CIA. Former OSS agents are pleased with the release of the information, a list which includes other notables like Ernest Hemingway's and Teddy Roosevelt's sons.

Izzy, the albino squirrel, has a factory line of peanuts to nibble through and he's up to the task. Watch him pounce on each nut, shake it to hear the goodies inside then crack away at the outer shell like a pro. This is like a Top Chef quickfire challenge — only nuttier.

Forget "Top Chef." Folks in Japan prefer a little more spin on the culinary game show concept. Who cares if contestants can cook—can they swipe a tablecloth without disturbing a diner's place setting?

Take a cup of "Top Chef," add a tablespoon of "The Real World" to it, along with a sprinkle of "So You Think You Can Dance"-- and you've got Mark here. Beyond a can of chili, I believe he's boiling up the concept for a new hot reality show.
