I'm not sure "The Pick Up Artist" is gonna do much for the social lives of these losers. I mean, they're on TV and all, which may result in five seconds of local celebrity fame for them while the show's still airing, but after that, they have to live this sort of embarrassment down-- a not so peachy prospect, if you ask me. Kissing their own hands would have been more dignified. (Thanks, Jezebel!)

TV Tonight: "Mission: Man Band" and "The Pick-Up Artist"

VH1 has two new reality shows starting tonight, and I'm still trying to guess where they'll fall on the bad to so-bad-it's-good spectrum. One, "Mission: Man Band," makes me chuckle just thinking about it. The other, "The Pick-Up Artist," just makes me roll my eyes.

Actually, I already said all I have to say about "The Pick-Up Artist" (pictured above) back when I heard the show was filming. Nothing I've seen since has changed my opinion of the series, in which a master "PUA" named Mystery - who figured prominently in Neil Strauss' The Game, sort of The Rules for boys - teaches hapless guys how to hit on chicks like the best of them. Stay classy, VH1.

"Mission: Man Band," on the other hand, simply cracks me up. The show tosses four former boy band stars - Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd, Chris Kirkpatrick of NSync, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, and Rich Cronin of LFO - in a house together and gives them one month to attempt to recapture fame and fortune. I'm bummed about the absence of a Menudo member, but I'm pretty sure this one could be hilarious.

Another way to give your complexion a fresh, fun finish is "to incorporate a pink-toned eye shadow to pop up the eyes in the crease," Quynh explains, recommending Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Sugar Sugar. "Or, you can use pink lips instead of red ones."

And for a brightened effect, finish with a highlighter, such as Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream All Over Face Palette, above your cheekbones and on your brow bone. For something a little warmer, try Glowdacious Illuminating Powder on your forehead, cheeks, and chin. Then all you have to do is watch your suitors line up.

Rachel Zoe and her pal Joey Maalouf went shopping for beauty products yesterday with her little one Skyler Berman. Joey and Rachel have worked together for years, with him as her makeup artist. The retail therapy was Rachel's latest LA outing after she and baby Skyler went out to lunch together Sunday. She wrapped up her weekend in front of the TV, watching the fashion parade on the SAG Awards red carpet. Rachel weighed in on Twitter about her best-dressed picks, with Emma Stone in McQueen and a Givenchy-clad Zoe Saldana at the top. Now, she's looking forward to a few weeks of travel for the upcoming Fall Fashion Weeks. Rachel Zoe's luggage was the topic of one of her latest tweets, and she showed the enormous amount of packages she's sending ahead of her trip - and it was just the first of two shipments!

How to Work Bright Hues Into Your Makeup Routine (And Wardrobe, Too)

Bold colors in clothing can make your makeup choices a little dicey. Should you balance a vivid shade with pops of color in the eyes and lips, or go neutral, as not to look too silly? Recently I styled starlet Camilla Belle's makeup for the Art of Elysium event. She wore a beautiful, bright yellow dress that gave me pause in terms of makeup. My first instinct was to do a bright lip and pale skin. I then decided that the yellow should be the only color, and that everything else should be crisp, but neutral.

For the cheeks and lips I wanted to go with Camilla's natural lip color, just a little more vivid: too pink and it would be too sweet/little girl, and too plum it would be kind of Easter-y. To accomplish this, I used Maybelline Dream Mousse in Soft Plum on the cheeks, and Tarte LipSurgence in Enchanted on the lips. It was the perfect way to let the yellow dress take center stage, all while keeping the face from looking low-watt. Want to play with color, too? Announcing the 2012 Golden Globe Winners!

And so we have another Golden Globes under our belt! This year's show brought a new round of quips from host Ricky Gervais, a dedication to Morgan Freeman, and a ton of statuettes honoring 2011's finest in film and on TV. There were a few repeats from the Critics' Choice winners: George Clooney, Octavia Spencer, and Christopher Plummer all picked up two trophies this week. On the other hand, Meryl Streep and The Descendants both won big for the first time this week, proving that it's anybody's game at the SAGs and Oscars.

On the TV side of things, new series Homeland was crowned best TV drama, while its star Claire Danes picked up the statuette for best lead actress. Newbies Matt LeBlanc and Laura Dern also took home awards, while Modern Family earned its first ever Golden Globe.

Michelle and George Take Home Big Wins at the Star-Studded Golden Globes

Ricky Gervais was back, and as irreverent as ever, as the host of the 2012 Golden Globes. He kicked off the proceedings by pointing jabs at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, saying that the Globes are "just like the Oscars, but with less esteem." Celeb cameos started on a high note with an appearance from Johnny Depp, and early supporting honors went to Christopher Plummer for Beginners. Shortly after, Madonna unexpectedly was the winner in the best original score category for W.E. Michelle Williams won in the best actress in a musical or comedy category for My Week With Marilyn, making her BFF and date Busy Philipps one happy lady! Sweetly, Michelle thanked her daughter Matilda, saying, "I'm a mother first, and an actress second."

Further movie accolades went to Woody Allen, for his Midnight in Paris screenplay, and best supporting actress, Octavia Spencer for The Help. Iran's A Separation took home the best foreign film distinction over Angelina Jolie's In the Land of Blood and Honey, and Morgan Freeman made a touching speech accepting his Cecil B. DeMille prize. Angelina Jolie took the stage to present Martin Scorsese with the best directing statue for Hugo. Best actor in a musical or comedy went to Jean Dujardin for The Artist, and a very dapper Colin Firth handed off the best actress in a drama honor to Meryl Streep for The Iron Lady. Natalie Portman had the enviable task of bestowing best actor on George Clooney for The Descendants, and gave girlfriend Stacy Keibler a celebratory peck on the cheek en route to the podium. The Artist was crowned best motion picture, musical or comedy, and the final best drama award went to Alexander Payne's The Descendants.

In the TV realm, Lauren Dern scored a best actress upset for Enlightened over Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Zooey Deschanel. Julianne Moore and Rob Lowe overcame some technical difficulties to announce the miniseries or TV movie winners. Downton Abbey was crowned best miniseries after picking up an Emmy for the same category a couple months ago. Kate Winslet won for her turn in Mildred Pierce, and she showed some PDA with boyfriend Ned Rocknroll before taking the stage! Peter Dinklage won corresponding honors for Game of Thrones. Kelsey Grammer won best actor in a TV drama for his new series Boss, while another show in its first season, Homeland, picked up best drama. Claire Danes was a big winner as best actress in a TV drama for Homeland, and one of the evening's most surprising statues went to best actor in a TV comedy, Matt LeBlanc, for Episodes! Best comedy series went, once again, to Modern Family. It was a star-studded night of toasting the best in TV and movies - make sure to check out the full list of 2012 Golden Globes winners!
