This foul-mouthed, stogie-sportin' pooch was at the Republican National Convention last week, and in between insulting people, he managed to show that he has a soft spot for Anderson Cooper. (Sigh-I could listen to that man giggle until eternity.) Well, Triumph can't help but embarrass Coop, and calls him "Anderson Pooper," but you'll see why. . .

This goes without saying, but Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at Comic-Con, the comic book convention, is like shooting fish in a barrel. With zingers lobbed at them like "May the loneliness be with you," and "If you're here, who's at home disappointing your parents?" you wonder if these folks on camera have any common sense. Wouldn't you just run away when you saw this little punkass? This is a long video, but I just can't look away.

The Interrupter Strikes Again!

The Interrupter is a regular on the Conan O'Brien show and, much to our amusement, makes a habit of cutting Conan off mid-sentence in order to finish his thoughts for him. No thought is sacred or secret, even Conan's misgivings about the psychological instability of The Interrupter and all the homicidal urges that follow. When all is said and done, I'm sure feces covered zookeepers everywhere were happy to see Conan fire that "warning" shot!

From "The Way-Too-Honest Home Shopping Network" channel to "The Too Demanding In Bed" channel, it offers the finest in home entertainment without all the fluff, special effects, or realistic plot lines. I'm already sold, so where do I sign up? (Truth be told, I really want that quilt made from the twenty ugliest quilts in the world, and where else am I gonna get it?)

As you all know, I've been following the prolific tweeting of Levi Johnston (or the person who pretends to be Levi Johnston!). His 140-character musings are sometimes offensive, sometimes funny, and consistently random. You might also remember that master of spoken word recitation William Shatner went on Conan O'Brien's show a while back to read Sarah Palin's Twitter poetry. Say What? Ex-Letterman Writer Says Hostile Work Environment No Joke

"Was I aware that other high-level male employees were having sexual relationships with female staffers? Yes. Did these female staffers have access to information and wield power disproportionate to their job titles? Yes. Did that create a hostile work environment? Yes. Did I believe these female staffers were benefiting professionally from their personal relationships? Yes. Did that make me feel demeaned? Completely. Did I say anything at the time? Sadly, no."

- Nell Scovell, a female writer on the David Letterman show in the '80s, on why she left her "dream job" in less than four months as a writer on the show because of the sexual atmosphere there. Sexual favoritism, a subset of sexual harassment, creates a hostile work environment for women who are not having sex with higher ranking men by creating an uncomfortable sexual atmosphere in which it appears that advancement is predicated on having a sexual relationship with higher-ups. In 27 years, there have only been seven female writers on Late Night and Late Show. Scovell's dream? "I just want Dave to hire some qualified female writers and then treat them with respect. And that goes for Jay and Conan, too." As of today, there are no women out of the 50 comedy writers writing for Late Show With David Letterman, The Jay Leno Show, and The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.
