I envy guys for being able to pee anywhere — especially when I'm camping or attending an outdoor festival or something. But what stops me is the whole drip-drying issue, not the lack of a special tool, which is why I find the GoGirl feminine urination device ($7) a tad puzzling. This silicone funnel comes in a cute tube and creates a watertight seal so you can "go anywhere" with no mess or fuss.

It started out as a blogging gig for a moms-to-be site, but 23-year-old Lynsee, a teacher from Minnesota, decided to take it a step further. Along with her mother, husband, and midwife, she's going to have a cameraman film her giving birth while it's broadcast on live television. (No graphic shots, however.)
Although her husband Anders was hesitant at first, he finally agreed to it.

As you all know, I've been following the prolific tweeting of Levi Johnston (or the person who pretends to be Levi Johnston!). His 140-character musings are sometimes offensive, sometimes funny, and consistently random. You might also remember that master of spoken word recitation William Shatner went on Conan O'Brien's show a while back to read Sarah Palin's Twitter poetry.

June 27, 2007, Gordon Brown, 56, finally became the Prime Minister of Britain, after serving over a decade as Tony Blair's heir apparent. As lore would have it, in 1994 the two Labour Party friends made a pact — Tony Blair would run for Prime Minister, and eventually pass the torch to the awkward and dour Brown.
Brown became Prime Minister when the unpopular Blair stepped down, and immediately confronted a series of crises, including a thwarted terrorist attack, and flooding across England.

Hugo Chavez, 53, is the president of Venezuela. A while back, he addressed the UN General Assembly the day after George W. Bush declaring that the room stank of sulphur because "the devil" had been there.
