Just because you know someone really well, doesn’t mean that they can’t surprise you from time to time - in fact, many would say a little mystery in a relationship is a good thing! But what happens when what they surprise you with isn’t so great? If what they do is a disappointment, or worse, a betrayal, I wonder if it’s possible to see the person in the same light again. Just as we can’t forget the good memories, it can be difficult to erase the bad ones too. So ladies, please share your experiences. Do tell: Have a friend’s actions or behavior ever made you suddenly think differently of them?

You and your boyfriend have been together for over three years, and though not engaged yet, you've talked about settling down together eventually. So it came as a big surprise when you learned you were pregnant a couple months ago. The news has taken a lot of processing and much reevaluating of your life.

But while you’ve accepted your pregnancy, and want to make the best of it, your boyfriend has not. He’s completely withdrawn, angry, and accusatory. You need his support, but he doesn’t seem willing, so how would you handle this?

Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in a woman's life, but as you know, not all engagements have a happy ending. Since the engagement ring is the symbol of a couple's commitment. it's important for the woman to be happy with what she's given. But how is the man supposed to know unless he asks her what she wants? Well if he does that, the cat's out of the bag, so what's a guy to do? While I wouldn't want to be unpleasantly surprised (remember Carrie and Aidan?), I also wouldn't want to know what to expect. This is a very personal choice so ladies, do tell, would you rather pick out your ring with your boyfriend or be completely surprised?

Everyone has secrets, but what about those things that people would be surprised to know about your relationship? I'm not talking about skeletons in your closet; I mean behaviors or actions that one wouldn't necessarily assume of you in a couple. You've all divulged your secret single behavior, so now it's time to blab about your secret behavior with your significant other. Perhaps you sit down to a candlelit dinner every night, or maybe you snore so loudly that your boyfriend has to sleep in another room. Whatever it is, do tell!

Handle This: He Gets Your Name Tattooed

For your one-year anniversary, you and your boyfriend have a romantic night planned. You’ve completely gussied yourself up for the occasion: you got your nails done, bought a new dress, and had a friend do your hair and makeup.

When you get back from a very nice dinner, you guys decide to exchange gifts. After you give him yours, he asks you to turn around so he can surprise you with his. When he tells you to look, you whip around expecting a piece of jewelry or even a puppy, anything but what you see. Instead, he’s standing with his shirt off and his back turned. Just above his behind is a big, and very noticeable, tattoo of your name. You don't hate tattoos, but this is just shocking. He's so excited that he's practically beaming, so how do you handle this situation?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced on yesterday's episode of The View that she's expecting her third child, but watching her break this news, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable when she went into detail about how her pregnancy was a surprise. She was honest about the fact that she didn't know she was "knocked up" for almost two months, and while she seems to be excited about the new addition to her family, I found myself saying TMI! I might be the odd one out here, so tell me, where do you all stand on announcing that your pregnancy was a surprise?
