i voted and didn't get a sticker

That stinks. My daughter and I both got a sticker so we are going to hit up B&J's tonight. MMMMM!

McAlisters deli is giving away a free (huge, calorie laden) cookie to those w/ stickers. My husband and I both got one when we voted early two weeks ago.

I voted on the 18th -- I got a sticker!!!

i voted 6 days ago. the only thing i won was to have people stop calling me...asking me....vote for ??.....i'm just damn happy my phone stopped ringing off the hook!!!! thats a prize right there

I got two stickers. I'm wearing one now. I'm trying to decide what to do with the other one. They had tons of stickers at my polling place. Even a baby was given one to put on her coat.

I wasn't going to vote, but then once I heard about all the FREE Things I could get for voting, I decided to take the plunge.

I wish we would get freebies on election day in my country, but all we get is the warm, fluffy feeling of being part of a working democracy. *lol*

What's with the guest posting? They had to bring in someone from the outside to blog about free donuts, huh?

I didn't get anything for absentee voting but I have picked up a bunch of No on 8 stickers, and my MoveOn Obama/Biden stickers already, so it's all good on the swag front.

I wanted a sticker very badly....but unfortunately, my polling place just didn't have them. I was going to take a picture of myself flaunting my sticker, but it wasn't meant to be. At least I have a picture of myself standing outside in complete darkness in a line of about 100 people waiting to vote. (Yes, you can't actually see all 100 people because of the darkness, but you can tell that it is long.)

My co-workers were saying that its illegal for anyone to give out free things as an incentive to go out and vote and that Starbucks was in huge trouble but weren't going to stop. Anyone else hear about this??

According to the Starbucks blog...they said anyone could get a free coffee today even if you don't vote.
