Darla isn't in school yet, but she's already in training for Spring Break. UPDATE: Though the video has been removed, here's the gist: Her mother - who clearly has a sharp, if somewhat twisted, wit - has trained the toddler to lift up her shirt when mom says "Spring Break." I think it's pretty funny, because it seems unlikely that any mother this edgy could actually raise a future Girl Gone Wild. What do you think?

Mexican Drug Violence Sparks a War on Spring Break

Universities and parents, not to mention travel agencies that straight up canceled trips, have discouraged college students from heading south of the border for their Spring breaks this year. While the warnings aren't stopping students from heading to places like Cancún, resort towns close to the border are being hit not only by violence but also by a decrease in tourism revenue.

After more than 6,000 people died last year in Mexico from drug violence, places like Palm Springs are wooing Spring breakers to their hotels, bars, and pools. Lucky them?

Bruno Wants to P-A-R-T-Y!

I cannot wait for this movie. Bruno (aka Sacha Baron Cohen) goes to GAYtona Beach, FL, for spring break and gets a bunch of yahoo frat boys to spell out the word party and say "Whoo!" in endless variations. What they don't anticipate is what he asks them to say into the camera towards the end. Whoopsies! It's worth the wait, my friends.

We've seen our share of mascots forgo the "rah-rah" routine to duke it out with each other on the sidelines instead. I guess showing team spirit involves a killer left hook and a hard kick to the groin these days. Lovely. So it should come as no surprise that this here mascot went on Spring Break and took his aggression to the beach - where he could chase down, kick, or crush any unsuspecting sun soaker. Kids included.

Our gal here thinks that rolling around on stage in a bathing suit with her legs spread eagle is hot, but it's not. Even with a backwards somersault and some offstage booty bouncing - it still ain't sexy. But it's worth a good laugh for all the sober folks at home. Girlfriend's gonna need more than two aspirin before bedtime to rid herself of a pounding headache tomorrow morning . . .
