HBO Documentary About Obama — Too Soon or Bring It On?
President Obama is a big fan of HBO, and apparently the feeling's mutual.
Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to distribute HBO's documentary By the People: The Election of Barack Obama. The film will play in US theaters, while also being distributed internationally.

WTF?!
Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, when he's not partnering with Louis Vuitton and selling handbags in the middle of the Brooklyn Museum, is a pretty out-there artist. He decided to treat his Inochi ("Life") sculpture as if it were just another luxury product and shoot a commercial around it, a commercial that makes no sense and creeps me the eff out. .
