i'm very close to my sister. although she is 4 years younger than me i lean on her as if she were the oldest.

I have brother's and always wanted a sister to have a special bond with. I love my brother's and we are close. We don't have a lot in common but we do visit and call each other frequently.

I'm very different from my two siblings, they are more a like. They are kind of wild compare to me; they're more spontaneous, while I think everything I'm going to do; they are free spirit, while I'm not. Physically we do look a like but we are very different from each other. But we do love each other, specially my brother and I have an immense love for each other. He is always making sure that I'm taken care of and that I'm good.

my sister and I are totally different in so many ways, but we're still very close (AND live together!). we've talked about the fact that if we were not siblings, we would never have met each other, and consider it a true blessing that we are able to really understand and respect and love each other because of and in spite of our many differences

My brothers and I are pretty much exactly the same. We all take after our fathers side of the family. We are even a lot like some of our cousins. We're a pretty unique group of people and we often joke about it at family gatherings.

A little bit of both, for both my sister and brother. We're not opposites, but we're not all that much alike either. My brother and sister are much more like each other than like me, but we all get along extremely well

All three of us are absolutely completely different from each other. I'm a the quiet, studious goody-two-shoes type who is trying to go to med school and is always the responsible and diplomatic one; my 1 year younger sister "Abby" is always brash, aggressive and right up front with whatever her opinions may be (regardless of the situation), extremely artsy and very driven; my six years younger sister "Lizzie" is a social butterfly, very high maintenance, extremely athletic and draws people to her like a magnet. It's almost like each of the other two have the personality traits the third one lacks. As far as romance goes I'm the only one who has ever been in a long term relationship, Abby hasn't even gotten to second base, and Lizzie has kissed so many boys that at 14 she has already lost count.

Our looks are also completely different. I have to wear tall sizes in pants, Abby always buys jeans meant for curves and Lizzie is a size 0. Abby in particular doesn't even look related to Lizzie or me unless all three of us are in a picture, and then people can see some of her features in our faces. I've had people actually ask me if Abby is my stepsister or one of us is adopted if they haven't met Lizzie.

So, to sum up, we're more like red/yellow/blue on a color wheel than opposites. But we love each other just the same!

I have ten siblings and am the obvious black sheep. The majority of them are fundamentalist evangelicals, with a Catholic and a couple of moderates thrown in for good measure. A few of them dropped out of school, though most finished grade 12. One was fired from a massage parlour for molesting a client, one couldn't keep a job to save his life and the rest are quite content to work in the trades. All of them have kids and one of them even has five.

On the other hand, I'm a childless gay atheist with two degrees and a professional career.

The older we get the more alike we have become. We used to be opposites, but are both moving toward the middle.

We're neither opposites nor mirror images. My sister lives ~6 blocks from me, though, and she's my best friend. I couldn't be so close with someone who was either a mirror image or a total opposite.

My brother's nearly 10 yrs older than me and we look nothing a like at first glance. I mean, people think that we're dating 99% of the time. We have nothing in common though, besides our thick wavy hair and nose. He's a polished business man, I'm a carefree artist. He's money savvy, I'm a spender. He doesn't have a creative bone in his body, while my lifestyle depends on it. And yet, he's my very best friend.

My brother and I are opposites. He's tall, dark hair and eyes, and naturally very tan. I'm petite, blonde, green eyed, and very, very pale. The only thing we have in common looks wise is we are both naturally thin with long limbs (for our body size) and we both freckle in the summer.

Personality wise, my brother is non-confrontational, conforming, gives in to my parent's pressure, sort of just floats along in life. Me on the other hand, I'm very goal oriented, semi-aggressive, confident, buck the trend, and ignore/disappoint my parents depending on who you speak to.

We are best friends though and always help each other out, especially with the 'rents who drive us nuts.
