Not so instant. As you may know, a Rube Goldberg machine is a contraption that makes things needlessly complicated. Hell, I could have made a three course meal by the time this thing made a freaking bowl of Ramen!

Anything that's been elaborately constructed to perform a simple task in a highly convoluted sort of way is given the Rube Goldberg seal of approval. Internet geeks spend many hours constructing these chain reactions, posting them on the web, and trying to one up each other's creations. Most of these involve everyday household items, but those crazy Brits have devised the ultimate, end-all Rube Goldberg machine - involving humans. It's an advertising ploy, but it's still fun to watch.

Now we're talking! My admiration for Rube Goldberg machines has been muted and distant - until now. Any machine that makes me cocktails (and with style!) gets a thumbs up. I may have to drink a couple beers while this thing makes me my first drink, but I can wait. Amazing!
