Is This Pic Fit For the Photo Album?

A new trend is to stuff Baby's First Photo Album with pics of Mom and Pop embracing each other while posing near topless in blue jeans. Nothing out-of-bounds is exposed, and the point is to show off Mom's beautiful baby bump, but is Dad's chest hair (or lack thereof, in the pic below) really necessary? Is this style of photography sweet and honest, or plain ol' inappropriate? You tell me.

The Internet has nothing better to do than punk with people's pics these days. No photo is off limits, nobody is sacred, and there are absolutely no boundaries. Decapitate a baby? It's been done. Decapitate an old lady and give her a cat head for kicks? Done. So the three-dude pileup shown above was an easy target, and unnecessary blurring was the gag. It's a little harsh, but your mind was going there anyway - so what's the harm? Visit You Got Blurred for more unnecessary censorship.

You Asked: My Boyfriend Won't Let Me Take His Picture

Dear Sugar,

I recently went on an all-expenses paid trip to New York with my boyfriend, and it was great. However, when we were on our carriage ride through Central Park, my boyfriend refused to take a picture with me. Not only did he refuse while on this excursion, but he refused throughout the entire trip. I know he has nothing to hide; he just doesn't like getting pictures taken. I was so upset over this, and he just didn't care. He kept saying "No pictures. No way." We ended up spending the rest of the day angry, and he even threatened to get me an early flight back home. Any advice on this? We have had arguments about pictures before. He just refuses to let anyone take our picture. I really only have one of him since we have been together. Whats going on?

Dear At My Wit's End Emma,

I don't blame you for being upset. Getting your picture taken seems like such a normal thing, and it's a great way to celebrate your relationship and share it with others. Pictures tell stories and help us savor memories. Something tells me that there is obviously something deeper going on here.

I would definitely have a big talk with your man and get to the root of his feelings. Is he self-conscious about his looks? Is he worried that you're going to share the photos with people he doesn't like or know? Does he have an issue with getting his picture taken in general, or does he just mind when it's a picture of you two together? Is this a new relationship and he wants to wait until you've been together for a certain amount of time before you make the relationship official with a snapshot? It also may help if you explain to him why you want pictures of the two of you, or what you're going to do with the pictures after they're taken.

If he won't talk about this, you can try getting some info from his family, since this may have been an issue way before you came along. If you can't find anything out, and he continues to put his foot down about this, then you've got to figure out if this is something you can live with, or if you foresee this as being a huge problem down the road. We've all done the "duck out of photos to avoid ruining someone else's picture" move. Usually, we stop completely and wait for the camera to do its thing. But what if people are posing for the hell of it and there is no camera in sight? How long will bystanders courteously wait off to the side for a picture never to be taken? Longer than you'd think.

I usually don't laugh when people cry, but the following was an exception. The "Big Brother" cast members got their photos taken and poor Jen here was a little less than thrilled about her head shot. No one really knows what she's crying about because she immediately covered the pic with her hand while mumbling something about "dark bag eyes." Oh, the horror! But it was photogenic Joe's recap of the trauma that really got me rolling.

Levi Wears Leather and Skin in Playgirl Shoot

As we all know, Levi Johnston took time out of his busy schedule as a nut salesman to shoot some nudie photos for Playgirl. So here are some of the shots, which I cropped a bit for decency's sake. Even though there is no full frontal, we do see a lot of skin . . . and armpit hair.

Flashback! A Phone For Creepy People

For $69 those looking to spice up their phone calls could have owned this "conversation piece" belonging to the same genre as that leg lamp in A Christmas Story.

The ad reminds us that the phone was sculptured by a European artist, which makes it totally classy and not at all tacky. However judging by the photo, it's not so easy to talk on a naked-lady phone. Oh well.
