When you're in a long-distance relationship, face-to-face contact is sometimes hard to come by, which is why couples have to get creative in order to keep the romance alive. And luckily, with so many ways to communicate these days (text, email, iChat, and of course the phone) it's easier than ever to stay connected to your lover. So to all of you who spend time away from your special someone, tell me where you stand when it comes to being intimate over the airwaves.

When Sarah Palin was running for vice president, it was all over the news that her daughter, Bristol Palin, only 17 years old, was pregnant and engaged to marry her high school boyfriend. Now 18 and a new mom, she's speaking out in hopes of preventing other young teens from becoming parents. In an interview with Greta Van Susteren on a recent FOX News segment, Bristol said she wants to be an advocate against teen pregnancy, and encourages all teens to wait 10 years until they're married, living in their own home, and stable in their career before starting a family.

Since texting is so common these days, it's definitely had an effect on dating. And sure, a couple of flirty texts here and there is one thing, but a steamy text session is another!

Dear Sugar--
My best friend of 5 years and I recently started going out. Before me, he was with another girl for 3 years but he has repeatedly told me that he doesn't have feelings for her anymore.

DearSugar --
I have been with my boyfriend for 4 months, and he is always trying to get me to have phone sex with him. I always try to avoid the conversation as much as possible. The problem is, I don't know how to.

Come on, people!

This is a Flashback in every way. When is the last time you heard The Village People sing something besides "YMCA," saw someone use a Princess telephone, or heard a sex phone line ad? (Do they still exist?) As monotonous as the tune is, it will get stuck in your head, as will the line "I stretch my Princess and I go crazy!"

Unless you have a robot fetish, you more than likely want sexy time over the phone to be with a flesh and blood human being. You know how annoying those automated "Press 1 if you want blah blah..." voices are and the inevitable mistakes they make because they "mishear" you?
