I recently ran across these gorgeous paper flowers from stylist Zoe Bradley. Zoe's paper creations have been seen everywhere, from the McQueen runway to the windows of Louis Vuitton and Donna Karan. While many of us will always prefer fresh flowers to paper ones, carefully crafted and displayed paper blooms, such as Zoe's, can make a huge visual impact. Imagine displaying them at a New Year's Eve party, baby shower, or even an outdoor wedding. I can see them hanging from trees, clustered in modern vases, or even tucked in party goers' chignons. A Cozy Moroccan Tablescape

YumSugar editor Katie Sweeney recently hosted a Moroccan-theme dinner party and shared a photo of her decor with the Lovely Little Vignettes group. She writes, "Here is the tablescape from my half birthday dinner party last night. I did a Moroccan menu and had everyone sit on the floor around my coffee table." The table setting looks fabulous, doesn't it!? Not only do I love this exotic style, but it caters to those of us (like yours truly) who don't have a dedicated dining room. I have a small bistro table that seats a few guests, but my large coffee table would much more easily seat a party of eight for a cozy bash like this one.

Now I'm feeling inspired to whip up some couscous and a lamb dish for friends in my own home. So I've done some shopping and rounded up some Moroccan tabletop decor for the fete. Check it out below!

Stephania and Colleen's Alternative Super Bowl Party Tips

Earlier today, Colleen Reilly and Stephania Stanley, hosts of Thursday Night Dinners, shared their first party plan for Super Bowl Sunday. Here's their second party idea, which is perfect for those of you who may not be football fans.

As we all know (or maybe you don’t know because you don’t care), Sunday is the Super Bowl. For those of us who aren’t interested in watching a bunch of grown men in tights running into each other while chasing after a ball for a few hours, that’s ok, we don’t have to watch it. But we suggest that you not let this day that is designed for friends to hang out just pass you by. Instead we recommend that you throw a low-key, stress-free mini wine tasting for you and your girl friends that has nothing at all to do with Game Day.

A wine tasting is a really fun way to try a bunch of different wines and, as a host, to save on alcohol money by having guests supply. Our recommendation for wine tasting rules: First pick a wine theme. It can be as simple as “White Wines,” or a little more interesting with something like, “French Reds,” or “Cabernet Sauvignons.”

Ask guests (it’s good to stick around 15ish guests) to bring two bottles of the same wine (one wine, but two bottles of it) that fall into your category of choice. When guests arrive, immediately place one of the bottles into brown bags or handmade wine labels to cover the one currently on it. Put a number or a symbol on the bag or label that will signify that guest-be sure to write down on a piece of paper each guests’ number or symbol. The point is that no one knows who brought which wine.

We owe model Dree Hemingway a big thanks for giving us an easy solution to two vexing fashion questions: how to make girlie things cool and how to wear summery pieces now? She attended a glam opening of the Christian Dior flagship store in Manhattan wearing a deliciously frothy dress from Dior's resort collection. Dree applied a dose of California cool and a layer of warmth simply by adding a slouchy sweater and belting it. Love it!
