The "it" I'm referring to, of course, is Lorena's husband's penis she had just cut off.
It was 1993, and the nation was morbidly curious and nervous-laughing about a story that seemed too crazy to be true. For the first time in her magazine's nine-year history, Oprah is sharing the April issue cover with First Lady Michelle Obama. We got a sneak peek at Michelle's interview this morning, but on this afternoon's show, Oprah shared her side of "one of her favorite interviews ever," saying:
I don't think that there's anybody that I've ever heard of, read about, or could imagine more suited for the role of first lady than Michelle Obama.

Oprah Winfrey plans to go to Washington, DC for the inauguration of Barack Obama, and she's bringing her audience, which is spread out across places like Saudi Arabia and another 140 countries!
During inauguration week Oprah will tape her show at the Kennedy Center's Opera House, also the location of Oprah's rumored star-studded inauguration night party. I guess we can start calling it the Kennedy Center's Oprah House.

Oprah is keen on a woman politician not named Hillary Clinton. The latest issue of O magazine features Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius in a piece about the virtues of female executive know-how. Governor Sebelius, an Obama supporter, gave this year's Democratic response after Bush's State of the Union.

Remember when Dina Lohan said she should have her own talk show because Lindsay Lohan's friends all go to her for advice and call her "White Oprah"? Well, The Soup couldn't resist imagining how the intro to that show might unfold...

And when I say "on Oprah," I mean on Oprah. The woman's eyes nearly pop out of her head when this dog rises for a hug and hovers over her. It all gets more entertaining when Oprah brings out the world's smallest dog to allow the two canines to size each other up-- in more ways than one!
