We all have situations that make us feel uncomfortable and self-conscious and times when we are being ourselves 100 percent. I feel most like myself when I can express myself and least like myself when I'm trying to impress someone.

During the 2008 election, Oprah declined to welcome sensational VP-candidate Sarah Palin to her couch. The talk show host and very public Barack Obama supporter said she wouldn't have any candidate on her show until the election was over. Now that the election seems like ages ago and Sarah Palin has a new book to hawk, the two will finally have a chat when Oprah interviews Palin on her Nov.

I love watching a cheater squirm. Even better when it's a politician, Oprah's instigating it, and his wife is right there. That's pretty much how it went on Oprah today when she interviewed Elizabeth Edwards about her new book, Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life's Adversities, which includes life adversities like dealing with an adulterous husband.

The "it" I'm referring to, of course, is Lorena's husband's penis she had just cut off.
It was 1993, and the nation was morbidly curious and nervous-laughing about a story that seemed too crazy to be true. Beautician Lorena Bobbitt, suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) after years of enduring spousal abuse, a forced abortion, and infidelities from her husband John Wayne Bobbitt, snapped one night after he came home drunk and, according to her, raped her.

Finding ways to de-stress, especially during times like these, is critical for your health and your happiness, and according to Dr. Laura Berman, kissing can really help in that crusade. Of course kissing and cuddling makes us feel close to our significant other, but it turns out that couples who engage in that connectedness are actually eight times less likely to be stressed and depressed than couples who don't take that time for each other.
