Remember my poll on annoying corporate catchphrases? Well, here's a more concise list you can copy and carry around in your pocket. During a meeting, mark off a box every time someone says an annoying corporate catchphrase or buzzword, and silently to yourself (unless you want to go to HR), say "Bingo!" when you get a whole bunch in a row. This is better therapy than passive-aggressively leaving your dishes in the sink for someone else to wash, am I right?

Entire Office Does the Electric Slide Dance

She's leading them all in the Electric Slide. Some people follow decently, others try their best, and the shy just stand back and watch. As more and more young people become interested in politics, studies show that fewer and fewer of them are interested in office politics. In spite of the fact that "Petty bullshit is the foundation of our worklife," according to one office busybody and expert in office politics, the apathetic attitude remains. But who will complain about dirty bathrooms, unchanged ink cartridges, and other crucial office issues? Trust me, there's always someone . . .

The Internet Really Screwed This Company Over

Financial consulting firm Dillon/Edwards Investments took too long to establish a website on the Internet, so when they finally got around to it, all the good URLs were taken. They didn't get their first-choice web address, but they compromised and got something that'll suffice. No big deal. It all worked out in the end.

Office Team Building Exercise Is Kind of a Big Deal

Most workplaces emphasize the value of teamwork. Some even force their employees to partake in mandatory team building exercises, which usually amount to a giant waste of everyone's time. But not in this instance. These ladies proved that they could work as a team and make the most productive use of their time, too. Let's just say they have a leg up on the competition . . .

Bored at Work? Not Anymore!

The weekday rat race can get a little mind-numbing sometimes, especially mid-afternoon when lunch has passed and five o'clock ain't really around the corner. So, what to do? Make an ass of yourself, of course! Whether the office needs an amusing diversion or you're simply plain bored, here's a list of to-dos that might liven things up a bit, or get you canned, but whatev. A little free time never hurt anybody. . .

While riding in an elevator, gasp dramatically every time the doors open.
Walk sideways to the photocopier.
Shout random numbers while someone is counting.
Kneel in front of the water cooler and drink directly from the nozzle.
After every sentence, say "Mon" in a really bad Jamaican accent. As in "The report's on your desk, Mon." Keep this up for one hour.
While an office mate is out, move their chair into the elevator.
Come to work in army fatigues and when asked why, say, "I can't talk about it."
Posing as a maitre d', call a colleague and tell him that he's won a lunch for four at a local restaurant. Let him go.
Speak with an accent (French, German, Porky Pig, etc.) during a very important conference call.
Repeat the following conversation ten times to the same person: "Do you hear that?" "What?" "Never mind, it's gone now."
During the course of a meeting, slowly edge your chair towards the door.

Stay Awake Glasses

They say that even a 20 minute nap can refresh you if you're tired, but what boss lets you sleep on the job? With DIY stay awake glasses, the answer to that question is: a boss who doesn't know you're asleep! I'm not that crafty, but I'd pull out the old scissors and glue if it meant being able to fool people into thinking I was awake. Imagine the possibilities!
