In this Nike ad, a woman makes good on her promise to "bob for lobsters" if she doesn't maintain her new year's resolutions. Yowza. If I fall short of a) exercising every day and b) writing the great American novel within the next year--I'll just make up new resolutions!

These chocolate shoes give new meaning to the expression "putting your foot in your mouth." Blondel candy-makers are making a selection of chocolates in the shape of Nike's latest line of shoes to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular Nike Air Force 1 shoe. Very soon (they'll be in shops later this year) you'll be able to have your shoes and eat them, too!

- More is now known about the Serbian attack on the US Embassy in Belgrade. Some 1,000 protesters set the embassy ablaze in protest over US support of Kosovo's independence. After the mob was dispersed using tear-gas, one burnt body was found inside the building, though all embassy staff members were accounted for.
