Beyonce and Jay-Z Kick Off the Grammys Fun With Rihanna, Will, and More

Gucci And Roc Nation's pre-Grammys brunch brought out plenty of A-Listers to LA's Soho House yesterday. Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z mingled with pals like Rihanna, Will Smith, and Will's Hancock costar Charlize Theron. Guys like Ryan Phillippe, Simon Rex, and the recently engaged Mark Ronson also hit up the meal. The musicians got together to kick off the run-up of parties ahead of tonight's ceremony - check out our highlights from Grammys past! The American Music Awards was jam-packed with flashy performances after a daring red carpet for the women and leather-loving guys. Rihanna opened the night sporting a bikini ensemble for her three-song medley. Her good friend Katy Perry had her own moment in the spotlight wearing a skintight red bodysuit after ripping off her skirt, while pregnant Pink put on a lively show, though the mom-to-be kept the acrobatics to a minimum. Taylor Swift's edgy arrival dress was your favorite, though she changed into an all-black skinny pants and blazer ensemble for her dramatic "Back to December/Apologize" mashup. Taylor was one of the evening's big winners, so check out the whole list here. Christina Aguilera's Burlesque was what you were most excited to see, but did "Express" live up to your expectations?

Justin Bieber shared his triumphant times with mentor Usher, and the two also both took the stage to showcase their hits. Miley Cyrus was on her own after apparently backing out of a duet with Bret Michaels. Instead she wowed in a Marchesa minidress featuring a giant bow before her 18th birthday tomorrow. Jessica Alba kicked off her Little Fockers promotional kick as a presenter with a very slick-backed do. Famous Vampires Are Fun and Fearless Together in NYC

Twilight's Kellan Lutz, Vampire Diaries's Paul Wesley and True Blood's Stephen Moyer made it quite the bloodsucker convention in NYC last night at Cosmopolitan Magazine's Fun Fearless Males bash. Elsewhere in the city, another undead star, Robert Pattinson was at the red carpet premiere of his new movie Remember Me. Gerard Butler was still sporting a tan from his February full of shirtless vacations with beautiful stars including Mexico with Jennifer Aniston. Ed Westwick helped round out the crew, looking dapper as ever as some of his Gossip Girl costars wrapped up a day of filming in Brooklyn.

The Boys Rock Signature Styles on the Grammy Red Carpet

While the ladies are usually the red carpet highlight of an award show, the Grammys wouldn't have been complete without its musical men. The Jonas Brothers continued their streak of going all out in tuxes, with Joe rocking an extra shiny jacket. Jay-Z also went formal as he gave a hug to his friend Chris Martin before they took the stage together inside the show. T.I. and Snoop mixed it up in their colorful blazers and sunglasses while John Mayer added a punch of purple to his black ensemble. Whether they walked away winners or not, the handsome men made it all the more fun.

Rihanna, Madonna, and Blake Support Kids and Gucci

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF. The dresses were varied, but Madonna certainly stood out in her unique green LV number, she is the face of the brand after all, on a break from her world tour tonight in Philadelphia. She has a few nights off after that, and according to court records, she will be officially divorced as of tomorrow. As for Rihanna, we'll get to see her strutting her hot stuff on stage this Sunday at the American Music Awards.

Diddy Turns 39 With Friends and a Special Gift From the US

Diddy's 39th birthday party at Mansion in New York last night was packed with his famous friends, and the celebration was doubly sweet after Barack Obama's Tuesday night win. The bday boy himself waved a patriotic American flag before mugging for the cameras with his buddy Jay-Z. While Beyonce found time to express her post-election patriotism, she'll be performing at the Europe MTV Awards tonight so the party was a no go. Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor stopped by after the Michael J. Fox benefit looking every bit the perfect team. Rebecca Gayheart hammed it up with Jack McBrayer, which reminds me that Oprah is on 30 Rock tonight! It should be almost as much fun as Diddy's fancy soiree.
