Models Strip Against Climate Change - Love It or Leave It?

A few days ago, an International Day of Climate Action was put on by the global campaign 350.org. Figuring the public is more likely to pay attention to practically naked models than Al Gore (naked or not), the group put together a video of smiling models taking off their clothes because global warming makes them too hot. I'm already skeptical of naked activism, but I think this video is trying to appeal to people who like barely-clothed models. I think they might want to rethink their angle - if global warming causes beautiful people to strip, won't some people think that's a good thing?

- 19-year-old himbo Levi Johnston explains himself to Us Magazine after their writer expressed shock that Bristol Palin's ex came out of his house naked when she arrived to pick him up for an interview. His Playgirl shoot, slated for early November, will apparently leave nothing to the imagination: Johnston plans on doing full-frontal nudity for the spread.

Très Bizarre: Man Charged For Being Naked in His Kitchen

Spending more time around the house naked might be good for the planet, but it could also land you in jail. The state of Virginia has charged Eric Williamson, 29, with indecent exposure for hanging out nude in his own home.

Early Monday morning, around 5:30 a.m., a naked Eric was making a cup of Joe in his kitchen. At the same time, a woman and her 7-year-old boy happened to walk through Eric's front yard. She called the police, who quickly arrived on the scene and arrested Eric. The reporting officers must have given Eric a chance to get dressed, because he's wearing clothes in his mug shot.

The police say that Eric wanted the strangers to see him naked. If prosecutors can prove that, Eric might be sentenced to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine. Considering it was so early in the morning and still dark out, it seems unlikely that he was standing in his kitchen naked waiting for random passersby to catch a glimpse. I doubt Eric will be convicted, but he still must be pretty upset about the whole situation. Perhaps the lady cutting through his lawn should be the one facing the law!

Très Bizarre: Famillies Dressed in Naked Suits

Thanks to the website Awkward Family Photos, we all know how uncomfortable family portraits can be. But some families are willing to really embrace the awkward nature of a family photo by dressing up in hand-knit naked suits for the occasion.

San Francisco's public television channel recently caught up with artist Anna Maltz, the woman who makes the head-to-toe suits and then takes photos of people wearing them. (I wonder if she also made the suit Sacha Baron Cohen wore at the Berlin premiere of Bruno?)

Anna explains that she got her inspiration from original naked people Adam and Eve. The only downside to wearing the suit? Curious people often feel free to squeeze what they believe to be fake breasts, when they're actually squeezing the real breasts that lie beneath the suits! Would ever try one on for size?

Air New Zealand's Naked Safety Video

I don't know about you, but I zone out during those safety videos flight attendants play right before takeoff. As masks are dropping and arms are waving instructional demonstrations, I'm either reading a tabloid or staring out the window.

Air New Zealand has found a way to get wayward passengers like myself to pay attention. Their "Bare Essentials of Safety" in-flight safety video features real (and naked!) employees in nothing but body paint applied to resemble their uniforms. Not only does this send the message that there are no hidden fares (get it, they're not hiding anything?), they get pervs like me to pay attention to safety tips. Hey, whatever works!

Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden bares all in London to protest government corruption. British politicians have been accused of "dipping into money that should have been allocated to schools and hospitals in order to furnish their homes and clean their moats." In fact one member of politician used taxpayer money to build a house for his ducks. Newspaper pin up girl Rhian wants all of Great Britain's politicians to "expose" their expenses before the country elects members to represent them in the European Parliament next week. (And yes - it's more naked activism!)

Is Nudity a Persuasive Method of Activism?

A naked person might make you either look twice or cover your eyes; but activists in Spain hope it will persuade you to join their cause against bull fighting. Over the weekend, anti-bull fighting demonstrators in Madrid dressed themselves up in not much more than fake blood. They were trying to raise awareness about the animal cruelty involved with bullfighting.

Going naked or using sexy women to bring attention to neglected causes isn't new. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) routinely uses human flesh to get out its animal rights message; they even orchestrated a Running of the Nudes to protest the infamous running of the bulls in Spain.

Do you think nudity gets people to pay attention to important causes, or does it come off as a distracting gimmick?

Do Tell: What Are You Self-Conscious About in the Bedroom?

I'd be hard-pressed to find someone that isn't self-conscious about some part of their body - even supermodels have insecurities! So when you're starting a new relationship and getting to know each other, especially in the bedroom, it can be incredibly intimidating to expose your flaws. Whether it's morning breath or cellulite, tell me ladies, what are you self-conscious about in the beginning of a new relationship?

Nude is sexy - sometimes. But nude clothing? Not sexy, ever. What would compel someone to cover up a bona-fide birthday suit with a cheap ass knock-off tank?
