Was he inspired by Alanis? Or, is this merely a scheme to steal the spotlight from his baby sibling--featured here as a back-up performer? Whatever the case, this kid sure knows how to put the bite back into an old song. Perhaps it's his creative addition of the word "poo" to the original lyrics? (Thanks for the find, TheMissus!)

For all these years that Alanis Morissette has been working the fiesty pop star thing, she may have been missing her true calling - as the female Weird Al Yankovich. Now, I normally find Alanis pretty annoying, but I think Fergie is infinitely more annoying, and that is why I love this music video for Alanis's cover of "My Humps."

By turning the horrendous Black Eyed Peas hit into an earnest, forlorn ballad, Morissette highlights just how laughable these song lyrics really are. Her down-tempo version would be funny on its own, but with the melodramatic, ghetto-fabulous visuals, it's pretty brilliant. To watch,

Are You an Exercise Lover or Hater?

Anne Hathaway is a reformed exercise-hater. The actress has said before that she hates to work out, but that all changed when she had to get ready (that is, fit into her costume) to play Catwoman in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight Rises. Anne said she used to hate exercise, but once she grew stronger she became "that person" who loves to exercise. "There's a workout hump where you're so weak that you hate everything and everything's painful, and you look like an idiot," Anne said. Now she says about exercise, "I really like it!" and counts herself a fan of Bikram yoga.

I consider myself a healthy person, but I don't think that exercise comes naturally to me. If you would've told my college self I'd be a gym rat when I grew older, I'd have laughed. I didn't know how to work any of the machines at my school's gym, and the thought of working out every day seemed so foreign to me. Even now, it's taken a long time for me to find a workout routine that I can stick with, and sometimes I still struggle with making exercise a no-brainer part of my daily routine. Some of my other friends, however, never think twice about making time to do so and say they don't feel right if they skip their normal routine.

Did it take you a while to love exercise, do you still hate it, or have you always loved to work out?

Fragrance Is About to Get Fergalicious

There's a new Avon lady in town, and she's more rock-and-roll than most. WWD reports that Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has signed a deal with Avon. She's no stranger to the beauty world, having represented MAC Viva Glam lipstick, but now she'll have her own product to promote.

The most lucrative part of multi-year contract is expected to involve Fergie's fragrance, which will launch next year. While the juice is still being developed, Fergie says that it will be "fresh and alluring." (As opposed to...?) "The vibe for the scent is for the woman who wears it to feel confident and not be afraid to be noticed," she told WWD. No word yet on the name of the fragrance, but I'll guess that its name will be more ladylike than My Humps. Are you excited for this development? And what do you think the name might be?
