High Rollers was the dice-rolling monkey in an old game called "Duel of the Dice." He wore a tux, had great teeth, and would only play with golden dice- that's how he rolled! But seriously, where are all the monkey contestants on TV game shows nowadays? Oh, that's right. They're all on reality shows.

The following is one of the musical interludes between segments of the children's program, "Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp." I know zilch about the show, but I do know that I dig these groovy monkeys man. They're way far out and, like Ed Sullivan, make me go whoo! whoo! whoo! whoo!

Meet Elke, the four-day-old hand raised Francois Leaf-Monkey as she poses ~~on the red carpet~~ at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney like a total pro. A native of Northeast Vietnam and Southeast China, this little red-headed monkey's heart-shaped face and calm demeanor tells me she's gonna be a supah-star!

Remember Sea Monkeys? How perverse was this child's "toy"? You added water, and the next thing you knew, you had an entire family that responded to your stimuli, whether it was food or music. Turns out, of course, that Sea Monkeys were just brine shrimp. Why do I bring all this up? Because I was looking at a recent picture of the (nearly unrecognizable) Nikki Cox (Las Vegas), and wondered, who does she remind me of? Oh yeah. The Sea Monkey mom.

Can you blame them? Hindu mythology revers monkeys as sacred, so two pet owners in India decided to "marry" their monkeys in a ceremony that drew 3,000 guests. (Maybe that's the party this guy was recovering from.) Read the entire story here.
