So it might take more than two people to make up a prostitution ring, but a mother and daughter in Philadelphia gave it their best shot. With the help of Craigslist, Traci Young, 39, and her daughter Tami Smith, 22, used Craigslist to sell themselves for sex online.

The pair advertised their services as a "mother and daughter tag team." The original offer came with a reasonable price tag: $200 to have sex with mother and daughter at the same time. They were caught when they arranged a meeting with an undercover police officer.

The mother, Traci, was convicted yesterday of setting up the prostitution operation, and daughter Tami has already been convicted and sentenced. Back when she was first arrested, Traci said, "It's a messed up world out there and we have to do this just to get by."

They say when we grow up, we turn into our mothers. I know that I'm often startled when I get glimpses of my mom's face in the mirror, but more fascinating to me are the ways our personalities often resemble one another.

As I get older, I'm more aware of the traits that make me similar to my mom, whether it's our fondness for cheese, our taste in earrings, or our tendency to interrupt people during spirited conversations. Sounds like a modern day fairy tale, right? Wroong. Dr. Phil is pretty conservative when it comes to women, but I gotta agree with him on this one. It's pretty gross to have children, post a MySpace page with racy pictures of yourself, and to fill in your mood as "horny." Ewwww.....

Thanksgiving is almost here, and it might just be my favorite holiday. Every year my family gets together for a big party at my aunt's house. I always look forward to the classic food like turkey and mashed potatoes, but I also love the dishes specific to my family, like my mom's spicy jalapeno cranberry sauce or the creamed onions made according to my grandma's recipe. After dinner, we all head to the living room hoping to beat our food comas with a spirited game of charades.

There's no doubt about it, balancing a baby with anything else can seem nearly impossible much of time. But every mom needs a few hours off once in a while, whether it's an opportunity for a quick snooze or dinner with friends. Though the scale will undoubtedly stay tipped to the mom side - as it should be! - it's OK to enjoy yourself without your baby. Since your baby is so young, and you're still adjusting to being a mom and a single woman, I suggest moving slowly.

Start with an hour or two away during the day, and work yourself up to an evening out. Make sure you have a great babysitter - family, friend, or otherwise - so you won't have to feel plagued with nerves while you're out. And definitely avoid planning too many social occasions too closely to one another. You want to make sure you still have more than enough opportunities to get all of that quality time in. As long as you don't let your social life take over or impede your mom time then I think over time you should have no problems making a healthy transition back into the dating pool.

Is it Okay NOT to Tell my Mom Where I Live?

Dear Sugar--

Currently, my mom lives out of state but as of next month - she's moving where I live. She is one of those crazy, emotionally and physically abusive types of people - the type of mom who cleaned out my bank account a few years ago (she said I passed away)! The type of Mom who would smack you around if you didn't clean the right way. I've learned that I can't change her and keep contact just by mail or email. Life is good and peaceful.

So, I just bought a condo. I don't want her to know my exact address (since she was the type of mom who also sold all my personal belongings at one point). Is it okay not to tell my mom where I live or work, etc and to keep my life 100% separate from her?

Yes, it is more than okay NOT to tell your mom where you live or work - it is NECESSARY! It sounds like you've had a pretty rough history with her not treating you well, so since you are on your own, you need to think about your safety and well-being. Unfortunately your mom hasn't given you any reason to believe that you can trust her, so until she does, she doesn't deserve to know anything you don't want to share.

Is she moving to be closer to you? If so, she's bound to ask you where you live. I would just be honest with her, and say that you are happy and independent, and because of her past behavior, you don't feel like it's a good idea for her to know anything about your life right now. Would she agree to talk to a therapist? A professional may be able to get to the bottom of why she does the things she does, which can in turn help her work on building a positive relationship with you if you are interested in developing a relationship with her in the future. Dear Poll: Do You Still Turn to Your Mom?

There's just something about the relationship you have with your mom. Of course both parents love their kids unconditionally, but moms are usually the ones who possess those loving, nurturing qualities we all crave from time to time. Since I'm close with my mom, I rely on her for everything from cooking tips to a warm home when I'm sick. Even though I'm a grown adult, it's still her advice that puts my indecisiveness at bay. Are you the same way? Do you still turn to your mom when the going gets tough?

Group Therapy: Why Can't My Mom Be Happy For Me?

My mom can never be happy for me, and I don't understand why. When I got into a good grad school, instead of the congratulations I got from everyone else, she made a negative comment about how I better be able to afford it. I was recently approved to buy my first home, and while all my friends and family were so excited for me, my mom didn't even respond to my email. When I called her she made another snooty comment about the cost.

I have been financially self-sufficient since I was 18 - I'm now 30. I have good credit and an excellent work history; I'm not being careless with my money. Both my mom and dad also have graduate degrees and love their jobs, and they've been homeowners since before I was even born, so I don't think it's a competitive thing. I have two younger brothers (one of them barely has his life together) and she acts like every little thing they do is worthy of a party. It really hurts my feelings. I just don't understand why she can't be happy for me. What can I do?

Mother Pranks Best

These moms must have done something really horrible to agree to take part in a prank schemed up by their two irreverent sons. The boys forced their mums to stand on a street corner and hurl sleezy remarks and surprisingly forward propositions at male passersby. Most of the men politely declined, as planned, but when one dude asked for a phone number, the boys made a disgusting discovery: Moms got game, too. (Thanks, eBaum's World!)

My good friend is getting married in a few weeks, and she came to me with a bit of a predicament. She was talking to her mother-in-law about some last minute wedding details, and when they said their goodbyes, her mother-in-law said, "Oh honey, you'll be married soon, you can call me "mom!!" My friend didn't know what to say, since she wasn't planning on ever calling her mom, so to avoid the situation, she said, "uh, ok, bye."

So, what would you do in this situation? Would you call your mother-in-law Mom?
