"My house is like a Benetton ad. I have French nannies, my security guards are Israeli, I have assistants from Argentina and Puerto Rico as well as a Japanese assistant and chef, and another chef from Italy. It's wonderful I love it."

as much as she is annoying, this article/interview did sound like she's calming down a little and is happy with the new chapter of her life before her. so, go Madonna, I hope you are.
1I guess she wanted people to see how diverse she was but it just sounds like she's bragging about how rich she is. Oh well, i still love Madonna
2Oh Madonna, you are so diverse.
3It would be cooler if she had friends from these locales, rather than just employees.
4She sounds pretentious to me. Maybe I need to read the article to find out what the quote is referring to. From that little snippet there, she sounds like she's talking herself up and I couldn't care less.
5I am 100% with you runningesq...she just sounds stupid to me. How can she think anyone with a brain would find this funny, smart,or in anyway impressive? I don't think she is diverse because of her semi international staff and adopted children (I'm sure that part got left out her but it's probably a little before this). She just sounds stupid to me.
I agree with jenwils01 and divinedebris also.
6Anyone can be diverse if they want to. You don't need to live in Hollywood to actually be a diverse person. I live in Omaha and I've traveled quite extensively, even to NYC and California and even Europe. So I'm not that impressed with her diversity. She sounds snotty in this interview.
And frankly, I don't like people who use other people like she does. She is the type that dumps people once she gets tired of them and finds out that they're human after all. No one is good enough for her. She's on her way towards being a lonely woman.
A house of staff do not equal friends no matter what she thinks.
7What is she trying to prove? I'm so rich I can import employees?
8I used to like Madonna in the 80s. Since then, she started to sound weirder and weirder. She does things so irritating. She just doesn't know what to do with herself. About time, she acts her age. With all the fame and fortune, I can tell her life is empty. She is just as lost and depressed. I hope that her daughter doesn't turn out like her in the future, as she is not a good role model for her daughter at all. You'd think at her age, and kaballah and all, she will be a person with integrity. Seems like she's getting worse as an individual. Sad...
