I don't want to say too much about this lingerie ad running in Germany because I fear it could give away the effect. But I'll tell you this: it definitely makes the point that anyone can have the desire to feel sexy. Check it out and tell me if you think it is powerful or problematic.

You know those mortifying dreams where you suddenly realize you've been going about your day in your underwear? Well a lingerie ad campaign was stuck in a similar dream throughout the entire 1950s and 60s. The Maidenform bra print ads featured a woman wearing her underwear in public doing something different each time. The copy always read: "I dreamed I (insert the relevant activity) . . . in my Maidenform bra." Check them out and tell me, if dreams could come true, what would you do in your Maidenform bra? Source

Do You Think Pointy Bras Will Make a Comeback?

When I look at this vintage ad, I think three things. First, apparently Lady Gaga did not invent the hair bow. Second, who plays pool topless? And third, how long until pointy bras make a comeback? Madonna made them famous on stage in the '80s, but will ordinary women ever want to look this perky again?

(Syrian) Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Bombarded with images of scantily clad women on billboards, television, and magazines, it makes sense that some women who live in liberal societies like the US succumb to lingerie's lure.

You may be surprised to hear, though, that even women who reside in extremely modest countries in the Middle East have the hots for seductive and sexy undergarments.

In Syria, where women often wear veils and long robes, the demand for push-up bras, leather outfits, whips, and edible underwear is on the rise.

After her wedding, a Syrian woman traditionally brings a trunk full of underwear to her husband's home. Some shop owners say that the Internet has added fuel to their imaginations and in turn altered the tradition. Now, some Syrian women don't want just any old underwear - they want the latest in kinky lingerie.

Sunday Confessional - I Thought About My Ex While Having Sex With My Boyfriend

I've been with my boyfriend for two years now. In the beginning, we couldn't get enough of each other and the sex was phenomenal. As we settled into our relationship, the passion began to fade. I know that's completely normal, but sex has always been really important to each of us so it wasn't long before things got awkward between us.

I knew something had to change so I started to wear sexy lingerie to help reignite the flame. It felt great to have him want me again like the good old days, but he wasn't reciprocating the effort.

To make matters more complicated, an ex-boyfriend of mine recently contacted me on Facebook. Things didn't work out between us for legitimate reasons, but I always found him incredibly desirable. He's been top of mind lately and the other night while having sex with my boyfriend, I found myself fantasizing about my ex. I felt guilty the entire time, but that was the first time we had mind-blowing sex in months. I don't want to get into the habit of thinking about other men while being intimate with my boyfriend, who I love more than anything, but can I be forgiven if I let my mind wonder from time to time?
