Jon Stewart called out a few high-profile Republicans last night who are terrified of President Obama. One example: conservative Andrew Breitbart thinks Obama somehow made his kids' school change "St. Patrick's Day" to "Potato Day." Sounds like fascism to me!

After playing video of Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, and the like, Stewart said: "I think you might be confusing tyranny with losing." Even so, Jon didn't hesitate to point out the cult of personality surrounding Barack Obama. Did you buy your commemorative plate yet?

Sexy Time! Sex Line Answers Journalists' Call Instead of Hillary

Hillary may never answer the 3 a.m. call she was so ready to take, but a whole other genre of late-night calls was made last night. Journalists got a sex line when the White House accidentally gave out a wrong number to a conference call with the secretary of state.

"Do you have any hidden desires?" a steamy voice asked. "Well, do you feel like getting nasty?" No! They didn't. They wanted to talk about today's NATO summit in Strasbourg, France. Reporters did eventually get through when they tried the number listed for international journalists.

No explanation from the White House - just a followup email saying "Lots of important issues to cover today!" Indeed!

On St. Patrick's Day everybody wants to be a little Irish. But the American president doesn't have to fake it. Barack O'Bama's great-great-great-grandfather was born in Ireland. Lighten Up! Indiana Casino Bets Obama Will Bring Gamblers

In honor of the Indiana Live! Casino's grand opening, advertisers created a TV ad featuring an endorsement by someone who sounds a lot like Barack Obama. The fake-Obama voiceover says: "Months ago we began the work of making sure that the Indiana! Live Casino is superior to anything that existed in Indiana. Years from now, you will say this was the place where Indiana remembered what it means to have fun."

You may not be able to watch this ad on TV anymore, since the Obama administration asked for the campaign to be pulled, but you can watch it here. Is it just me, or does the gambling Obama's voice sound a little bit like Bill Clinton's?

Colbert Nation to Conquer Outer Space

Stephen Colbert always has his eye out for naming contests. He's managed to get his name on an ice cream flavor, a Hungarian bridge, and a bald eagle. Thanks to his fans' enthusiasm for write-in campaigns, he might get a room in the International Space Station!

NASA wants the public to name the upcoming addition to the space station, now called Node 3. NASA has opened public voting until March 20th. Node 1 is called Unity, and Node 2 is called Harmony. Besides providing astronauts with a spectacular view of Earth, Node 3 will also convert urine into drinking water. Who wouldn't want his name attached to such a life-giving node!

Jon Stewart Responds to CNBC Host on His Variety Show

Last night Jon Stewart provided the latest round of laughs and blows in the case of Stewart vs. Cramer. Earlier in the day, CNBC host Jim Cramer went on an press junket to respond to the criticism he's been taking on the Daily Show. Well if NBC wants to defend Cramer, Stewart has MTV Networks in his corner. Check out Jon's own rehabilitation tour, which includes a cameo on The Hills and Dora the Explorer. I can't wait to see if Cramer shows up as a guest as planned on Thursday's Daily Show!

Lighten Up! Hillary Clinton Overcharges Russia

Hillary Clinton's message that the US wants to reset its relations with Russia got lost in translation today.

Like all good diplomats, Hillary brought along a prop to her meeting with Russia's foreign minister.

What prop, you ask? A bright red symbolic "reset button" to give to Russia's top diplomat. Only problem - "reset" was mistranslated into Russian as "overcharge." How do you say "oops" in Russian?

Jon Stewart Thinks Rick Santelli and CNBC Are Losers

Last night Jon Stewart treated CNBC host Rick Santelli to an eight-minute-plus verbal/video smack down. A while back Santelli stood up for Wall Street when he said Americans don't want to bail out loser homeowners. Upset that Santelli canceled on the Daily Show, Jon gave CNBC the hypocrisy montage treatment, showing how the network's advice proved to be wrong over and over again. Jon said, "If I'd only followed CNBC's advice, I'd have a million dollars today - provided that I started with a hundred million dollars."

The Daily Show Explains Twitter, Sort Of

Can anyone explain Twitter to non-Twitterers? Not really. But Samantha Bee, The Daily Show's "tech correspondent," did her best last night. She summed up why the media and Congress have gone gaga over it ("we're rotting corpses, Jon, grabbing for a glimmer of relevance"). And how it fulfills the need for quick bits of information (almost, anyway: She's also on Grunter for people who are too busy to read Tweets, or if that's too precious, "Twits").
