OK, so it's not clear if Larry is really drunk, but his answer to this earnest caller is definitely loopy! (Fruit Loopy, perhaps?) Gawker unearthed this awesome tape of Larry (from a while back) responding to a guy who called in to ask for tips on how to break into journalism and succeed in the career. Let's just say that his answer could've been more succinct: Booze - lots and lots of booze. (Or, to be fair, sleep deprivation. This was taped at 3 a.m., after all!) So San Francisco hipsters are doing something besides walkin' around too cool for school in their hoodies and ultra-tight jeans: They're creating art out of Fruity Pebbles. You heard me right! I know you thought that was just a screen shot up there of ol' Larry King, but it's hottie artist Ryan Alexiev's rendition of the television icon in the unique medium of breakfast cereal. As the folks at this blog said, "No doubt - Larry King looks pretty appropriate rendered in high-fructose corn syrup and artificial coloring." I couldn't agree more.

Kathy Griffin Takes on Tom Cruise

Kathy Griffin appeared on Larry King Live last Friday to promote the return of her Emmy-winning reality show, My Life on the D-List. Given that Kathy has something nasty to say about everyone - minus Anderson Cooper - Larry knew exactly what he was doing when he dragged Tom Cruise into the discussion. He was stepping into a minefield of accusations and slander and . . . invisible alien antennae? Good times!

Extra, extra! The AOL TV Host Poll results just came in. And the winning couple is . . . Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Larry King! So, what did they win?

Well, the honors were a little dubious. The View's Elisabeth was voted the "Worst Interviewer" and Larry of the omnipresent suspenders and weird slouchy hunch was voted "Least Sexy Host." Odd.

And the big question as to which TV host would also make the best President? Readers chose Diane Sawyer. Hmm. . . President Sawyer. Do you agree?

Conan Casts the Spitzer Made for TV Movie

Betcha ten bucks that the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal has been turned into a three-part television saga that's already in its tenth day of production. Conan has a number of casting recommendations, but . . . that many animals on the same set seems disastrous to me. For the sake of accuracy, however, the zoo is inevitable.

This is all kinds of weird. Snoop Dogg takes Larry King (!) to the famous Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. (Umm, didn't Larry recently have some major heart surgery?) Larry asks for an Arnold Palmer, Snoop asks for a doggy bag (natch), and I ask for mercy. This is too freakin' strange.

One thing's for sure: late night comedians didn't pass up the opportunity to take a punch at Paris last week. While David Letterman tallied up the lies in her recent Larry King interview, Jay Leno played around with the footage to get at the truth. And it should come as no surprise that his version of the interview is not only hilarious, but way more believable. With all these secrets exposed, I guess they can't call her "Mystery Meat" anymore!
