Since when does lip-synching count as talent? The following impersonator made it to the next round of the America's Got Talent competition for his outstanding lack of vocal skill. But I guess the whole lip-synching act isn't too far-fetched when one is impersonating Britney Spears . . .

Shhh! Elisa can't speak a lick of Swedish, but we'll let her think otherwise. According to her mom, 4-year-old Elisa woke up one morning and, out of the blue, claimed to be bilingual. Watch her (kinda-sorta-maybe) impersonate a Swede and flaunt her newfound language skills below. Cute, no?

The judges were impressed, but advised her to keep Britney at bay for the duration of the competition. But girlfriend recently busted a Brit backstage to stifle her nerves- and gave each of us a nervous breakdown. The last thing this country needs is another pop princess gone berserk! Grrrr. . .

"We Are the World" Gets Owned by Japanese Impersonators

These folks definitely did their homework. Watch a group of Japanese impersonators re-create the 1985 "We Are the World" music vid, featuring Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Wacko Jacko, Lionel "Hello Helium" Richie, and others. The look, sound, and mannerisms of the impersonations are spot-on, but Cyndi Lauper is my fave. Her vocals sound like a car with worn brakes screeching to a ~~halt~~ crash - just like the good ol' days . . .

During season two of Project Runway, Santino pulled a dead-on impression of Tim Gunn out of his back pocket - and the crowd went wild. His impersonation became the running joke of the season. Through Santino, we heard Tim talk all about his innermost vulgar desires, including his secret obsession with "Andrae!" Gunn took the teasing in stride. Imitation is, after all, the sincerest form of flattery - right, Andrae?

Not sure if this Tweety could outperform the moonwalking Manakin in a bird-off, but this talker certainly puts me to shame in the talent department. And despite the bird brain, he's got his beak in the opinion department, too. Do yourself a favor and never mention the word "diet" in his presence, because his unfiltered response just might scar you for life.

If this guy narrowed his impersonations down to say, ten, he could really work on improving some of his half-baked imitations. But the larger issue, as I see it, is that this guy had to have watched an awful lot of television to even know half of these characters! ALF, Gary Busey, Snagglepuss, and Columbo?! Dude, get out of the house, will ya!

This Shakira impersonator must be making the reality show rounds cuz I swear I saw her act on "America's (Not) Got Talent" a few weeks ago and it didn't disappoint in a freak show sort of way.
