Monaco's Princess Charlene and Prince Albert Enjoy a Not-So-Private Honeymoon

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert made out today in South Africa, putting their newlywed love on display for the world less than a week after their Monaco royal wedding. Charlene and Albert got dressed up for a dinner party they're hosting tonight in Durban. Feeling less like a honeymoon and more like a state visit, the royal couple also met with Jacob Zuma, the president of Charlene's home country South Africa, and his wife for lunch yesterday.

After marrying with more than 2 billion people watching, Prince William and Kate Middleton made sure to take a very private honeymoon - and not a picture of their time in the Seychelles has leaked to the public. In fact, we haven't even seen the duke and duchess kiss since they did it twice on the Buckingham Palace balcony!

Of course, William is still second in line to the British throne, while Albert is a sitting monarch with more responsibilities. Royal duties or not, are you surprised Charlene and Albert are making public appearances so soon?

Will and Kate Find Romance in Nature - Can You?

Prince William and Kate Middleton head south for glitzy Los Angeles soon, but before leaving Canada the duke and duchess reportedly enjoyed a sort of second honeymoon on a remote island in Canada - appropriately nicknamed "Honeymoon Island."

Last night, William and Kate flew into the wilderness, leaving their entourage and police protection behind. The nature-themed getaway was apparently a surprise for Kate, arranged by William. They took in a late sunset, ate local cranberries, and cooked caribou steaks over an open campfire. A far cry from Kensington Palace! After meeting with some locals, the two paddled off to Eagle Island, also known as Honeymoon Island, to reportedly watch the midnight sunset; the territory is so north, dusk doesn't come until midnight.

After a busy schedule, and many outfit changes, I'd imagine Kate craved some laid-back time with her husband, and a trip away is always a fun way to surprise your partner. But eating local berries and dining on campfire-cooked caribou isn't everyone's idea of a magical couple's getaway. Does roughing it, even for a few hours, sound like an ideal romantic getaway?

When you think back on your honeymoon, you hope it's memorable for the love-filled moments with your new husband. But our Facebook fans had some honeymoon horror stories that put the "worse" in for better or worse. Here are five honeymoon disasters to watch out for on your postwedding trip.

TV Turnoff: "The fact that my ex husband watched Arthur and the Invisibles all night. Yeaah."
Sick Spouse: "FOOD POISONING from bad steamers (clams). I had a 104 deg temp and was hallucinating. Should have taken it as a sign."
Toe Jam: "After a para-sailing accident in Hawaii, where my pinky toe was ripped apart from the rest of my foot, they wrapped my foot in a greasy towel, secured it with duct tape and set it on top of a first aid kit. When we got back to shore, they transported me to an emergency clinic that had open hypodermic needles laying on the counters, didn't use gloves AND didn't numb my foot in any way before stitching it all together. And I have pics of it all!"
Bad Bubbles: "We ruined a hotel jacuzzi tub with a $100 bottle of bubble bath (one of our wedding gifts)!"
Too Hot to Handle: "Holding hands while snorkeling together in the crystal clear warm water. It was my first time and I was so scared, but he made me feel safe. I had so much fun, I felt like a kid and didn't want to get out of the water. I paid for that later with a sever sunburn on the sides of my tush where I forgot to sunscreen. Good and bad."
