Only in the 70's would we have been baked enough to orchestrate this kind of madness and then expose our children to it on a regular basis. The following is one of the musical interludes between segments of the children's program, "Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp." I know zilch about the show, but I do know that I dig these groovy monkeys man.

When Isaiah Zagar moved to Philadelphia in the 1960s, he started creating a massive mural made of shards of glass and tile on the side of an abandoned building. The ongoing art chronicled the highs and lows of his marriage and the life of his two sons, one of whom has now made a documentary about the memoir in mosaic, called In a Dream. If you want to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Woodstock this Summer, you'll have to head to a movie theater. Thanks to a lack of money and sponsors, a previously planned commemorative concert won't be happening.
The original promoters of Woodstock had planned to hold a free concert in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, an event that was sure to replace hippies with hipsters.

My tastes are all over the map — nerds, hippies, and, like The Bangz here — I really like boys with tattoos. Whether they're hidden under Oxfords or displayed out in the open, unless it's a tribal tattoo or mistranslated Chinese characters, I think tattoos on guys are sexy.

The very concept of a soul mate sounds hopelessly hippie and '60s. But for some romantics, there is one person out there and they won't settle for less. Perhaps they imagine when The One shows up, a rainbow will suddenly appear and a unicorn will jump over it holding a bouquet of roses.
