Apr 11 2008 - 3:50pm Oh, man this has to be the hottest ticket in town. The special dinner where the press gets to roast the president? Especially one whose approval rating hit 28 percent today and it's his last year in office!?
He was invited as a comedian, not a correspondent though he was a Daily Show correspondent. Some people think he's quite brilliant, thus the new Peabody Award.
Stephley, I LOVE stephen Colbert. His book is hilarious, so is his show. I would honestly rather watch him then CNN or MSN or any of those news sources. hahaha He has a gift of putting things
in perspective.
He definitely has a gift. Sometimes, I get a little tired of the faux-O'Reilly schtick, then he'll go to The Word and completely obliterate some stupid idea being floated and I end up
absolutely in awe of his talent.

Ferguson's got a lot of work to do to top Colbert
but I like him
quite a lot, and have faith he'll rock the dinner!
1Why is it only 'kind of' inexplicable that Lauren Conrad is invited? I think it's downright bizarre.
2I just love that Stephen Colbert!!!
3I re-watched Colbert's White House Correspondents' Dinner a couple of weeks ago. It still cracks me up. Dubya's reactions are the best.
4How is Colbert, a comedian, considered a Correspondent? He isn't a journalist, he's just a comedian, and not a good one.

8I LOVE Stephen Colbert!! He's so clever and so funny. And he has a great singing voice, who knew?
I love Craig Fergueson too. I can't wait until he host this.
