When Isaiah Zagar moved to Philadelphia in the 1960s, he started creating a massive mural made of shards of glass and tile on the side of an abandoned building. The ongoing art chronicled the highs and lows of his marriage and the life of his two sons, one of whom has now made a documentary about the memoir in mosaic, called In a Dream. Check out the trailer below.

Now, before you go and choose "Do" automatically because Thomas Jane stars in HBO's Hung, about a well-hung man who decides to work as a male escort, just focus on his visible hotness. What will it be — do, dump or marry?

On Sunday, HBO debuted its new show Hung , about a washed-up athlete who decides to exploit what he thinks is the one asset he has left — a big penis — by becoming a male escort. Starring Thomas Jane as Ray Drecker, Hung lets it all hang out, so to speak.
It's your turn to let it all hang out.

President Obama is a big fan of HBO, and apparently the feeling's mutual.
Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to distribute HBO's documentary By the People: The Election of Barack Obama. The film will play in US theaters, while also being distributed internationally.

Thank goodness the show will go on, because I could not take one less of the two Big Love episodes left this season. What's the problem? Sunday's episode will feature a ceremony sacred (and kind of secret) to the mainstream Mormon church.

OK, OK I'm going to directly contradict every time your mother said, "read a book" or "go outside and play," because this week it's all about gripping TV. Here's what I mean:
Monday — It's not light TV, but sounds compelling:
- Section 60: Arlington National Cemetery — On HBO tonight at 9 p.m. this documentary tells the story of the section that serves as the burial ground of US military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Helen Thomas is the kind of gal who probably inspired all of those phrases like "tough as nails," and a "real kick in the patoot," to name a couple. Thomas has covered every president since JFK and is known as the "First Lady of the Press." On HBO tonight, the journalist sits down to recount her life in the documentary, Thank You, Mr. President: Helen Thomas at the White House.

Tonight on HBO, the next offering in their summer-doc series puts My Super Sweet 16 to shame. Chronicling the senior years of four Iraqi high schoolers, Baghdad High might not be the first do-it-yourself documentary by teens, but the constant threat surrounding the kids on a daily basis adds a layer of heartbreaking realism and a grim dose of perspective.
The kids are all from different backgrounds: a Sunni, a Shiite, a Kurd, and a Christian who document their senior year of 2006-07 while getting ready to take the big exams that will determine who gets into college, and grappling with the decision of whether they'll stay.

The Recruiter, a documentary that airs tonight on HBO, follows Sgt. First Class Clay Usie, one of the most successful recruiters in US Army history, and four of his high-school recruits. The film, which takes place in a small Louisiana town, exposes the challenges facing Army recruiters, who find it harder and harder to convince young Americans to serve their country.
