With her rocker eyeliner, all-black wardrobe, and perfected eye roll, Gossip Girl's Jenny Humphrey isn't exactly fitting in with the prissy kids at her prep school. It's obvious that she needs a bad boy by her side, and on last night's episode that's just what she gets.
Jenny meets up with a Belgian diplomat's son, who happens to be drug pusher.

You know what the Parents Television Council doesn't like? Threesomes. Implicit or explicit, it says there's no place for a ménage à trois on network TV.

It's only the third season of Gossip Girl and we're seeing Lily wed for the second time — nevermind her countless marriages before the show! When the last-minute wedding fails to materialize, Lily and Rufus make another snap decision to get married that night in the Humphreys' Brooklyn loft with Sonic Youth as the wedding band (weird!).
I like the idea of a spontaneous wedding, especially when you've had an on-off relationship for 20 years, but I'm not sure I could actually go through with it.

Ed Westwick's character on Gossip Girl went from being a bad guy to the smart, troubled guy who's actually sensitive. Basically, the kind of bad boy too many women fall for!
I wish he used his real British accent on the show — guys are always 10 times more attractive with an accent.

Last night's Gossip Girl episode may have been titled "The Lost Boy," but it should have been called "Nine Lies." Who isn't lying to whom? Blair and Chuck lie to each other to get into the Sotheby's auctions.

In an article in the New York Post today, real-life NYU students respond to Gossip Girl's depiction of NYU freshman orientation. What do they think of the show's fictional keg parties on rooftops, characters requesting who they want to room with to the Housing Office, and the notion that NYU is cheaper than Yale? (Here's a Buzz recap of this week's goings-on to refresh your memories!)
Although one blogger gives the thumbs up to the show's reference to an "Art & the World" class he actually took his freshman year at Tisch, another one disses the idea of a rooftop party.

One day you're in, and the next day you're below New York's 14th Street where, as Blair puts it on last night's Gossip Girl, "there's no class system." Is anything going right for poor Blair on her first day of college? Her gift bags and maid fail to impress her dormmates; her archenemy is her roommate; and that sushi/sake party is an epic fail.

Last night, our long, Upper East Side-less Summer came to a welcomed end when Gossip Girl's third season premiered. (Check out BuzzSugar for their favorite WTF moments.) While it lacked the melodrama I've come to love and expect, I was happy to see Blair and Chuck haven't let monogamy interfere with their Shakespearean scheming.
This year, instead of playing each other, they're on the same team, fooling unsuspecting girls into Chuck's arms so that scorned woman Blair can storm in and unleash her faux rage.

This Gossip Girl sneak peek clip (see BuzzSugar for more of them) shows Nate and a mystery girl reminiscing about their in-flight makeout session. Apparently, they were seated next to each other and decided — why not?
I've had friends who told me they did this — and more!
