Watch Flocke stomp around in unfamiliar territory and then clean up after a tough day's work- being this cute ain't easy, you know? (Let's hope this fame doesn't go to her head as it did for someone else we know. . .)

Look familiar? She should. Not too long ago, we watched Flocke (German for snowflake) sleep and snore away her first few weeks in a Nuremberg zoo. She's grown up a bit and can now lift her own head - to take a long, hard stare at her adorable self in the mirror, natch. With those itty-bitty teddy ears, I don't blame her.

Remember the sleepy polar bear we met last week? Well, the photos didn't reveal that this month-old little gal is quite the energetic napper. She fidgets, she snores, and when a nightmare strikes, her little paws pick up the pace. Who could she possibly be running from? Eh, take your pick.

Flashback: A Flock of Seagulls "I Ran"

I love this video with an unwholesome passion. I don't care if "I Ran," from 1982, was a one-hit wonder. From the lead singer in his red "New Romantics" shirt, to the rad guitarists (one of whom looks around twelve in those oversized sunglasses), to the rotating camera action - "I Ran" is a classic. And it should come as a surprise to no one that the founder seagull was a hairdresser.

Pirate's Booty: Women Flock to Somali Port to Marry Pirates

It may be wedding season at Sugar, but elsewhere circumstance and desperation still send women down the aisle . . . or to the docks. In like, say, Somalia!

In an interview today on CNN's American Morning, TJ Holmes found that Somali women are flocking to the port town of Bosaso in hopes of marrying a pirate. Arghh. I'm going to assume these pirates are more like the men pictured above and less Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. So what's the appeal? Well, money - pirates have it.

In fact, women want to marry pirates for the same reasons men become them: they want to escape the hopelessness, poverty, lawlessness, and civil war that pervade the streets of Somalia. Can you blame them?

Kids Flock to Hezbollah Shrine, Abu Ghraib to Open Museum

Two commemorative destinations established in the Middle East will help shape the historical consciousness of the region's newest generation. In Lebanon children flock to a shrine dedicated to Imad Mugniyah, the dead commander of Hezbollah, who is considered a martyr to some and a terrorist responsible for numerous bombings throughout the 1980s and 90s to others.

At the exhibit schoolchildren wait to see Mugniyah's bloodstained clothes, the shoes he died in, his cell phone, or the desk he sat at while he planned his attacks. Visitors also experience a multimedia exhibit chronicling Hezbollah's fight with Israel. The exhibit - which also includes a "victory bridge" made from artillery shells, a skeleton in uniform labeled "the invincible Israeli soldier" - must stay open until 1 a.m. to keep up with its popularity.

Meanwhile Iraq plans to reopen the infamous Abu Ghraib prison, where Saddam Hussein and members of the US military abused prisoners. The new Abu Ghraib prison will include a museum dedicated to exposing the crimes committed under Saddam. Stories like this make me think that efforts like Seeds of Peace, the summer camp which brings together children from enemy countries in the Middle East, are all the more important. If the forces of violence get to the next generation before those of peace, there is little hope for reconciliation in the region.

One could argue that no Ed Hardy products should exist. But since this designer line, distinctive for its corny use of tattoo designs like skulls and hearts, is everywhere, maybe we can curb the spread of out-of-control branding. I mean, even Hello Kitty, who has her own toaster, is like, "Make it stop!" Here are the top 10 Ed Hardy branded products that make you go, "Hmmm. . ." Even more so than the fact that women are flocking around Ed Hardy-wearing douchebag Jon Gosselin.
