The game of fetch has officially gone too far. This is just ridiculous. I think the bartender of this household needs to put his ~~foot~~ paw down and end this insulting cycle of servitude immediately. Pets are people too, dammit! (Oh, and a little "please" and "thank you" would be nice...)

Cats must have gotten the memo that - except among a subset of folks called (unfairly, if you asked me) "crazy cat ladies" - they've got a pretty bad reputation. It seems that some of the feline persuasion are doing damage control. Kitty PR, if you will. They're sending out cat ambassadors who do things like follow instructions, enjoy water, and fetch. Good job, guys! (I secretly prefer the inscrutable, lazy and indifferent versions but that's why I'm a CCL.)
