Vogue India decorated poor women dressed in worn clothing with luxury status items. In one editorial photo spread a baby dons a Fendi bib, and in another a toothless woman holds a Burberry umbrella. Considering that 456 million live on $1.25 a day in India, there aren't too many families that can dress their babies in $100 bibs.

I remember drawing them on my notebook during the first Gulf War and not really knowing what they meant — and now the peace sign is turning the big 5-0. The famous symbol made its first official public appearance in 1958 to advocate nuclear disarmament, and has since been used to graphically support a range of efforts from economic justice to environmentalism. Nearly every altruistic group has used this iconic logo as a way to communicate the idea of universal brotherhood.

I can dig a man in drag, I appreciate disheveled guys who don't care, but it's those metros that kinda bug me. The straight guy who cares too much about how he looks is a big turn off. As are these three-inch, cherry-red wedges from Fendi.

The Mayor's Office of Special Enforcement (OSE) seized $1 million of counterfeit Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Rolex and Coach goods Tuesday in New York City. Created in 2006, the OSE addresses quality of life issues such as lawless clubs, illegal conversions of apartment buildings into hotels, and trademark counterfeiting bazaars.
Tuesday's Chinatown raid came after a two-month investigation by OSE officials.

I am about to complete my masters' degree in May and I am trying to cultivate a more professional look. Clothing-wise I'm pretty much set, but there is one thing that I can't get right. The right bag for school/work!
