Sometimes a man's fashion sense can get in the way of his natural sexiness. And apparently, bad fashion can also cause violence. Last week we heard that a popular nightclub in Australia banned certain clothing (think Ed Hardy tops and popped collars) because that style of dress was causing bar fights. I asked all of you to share the styles you'd like to ban, and you guys reached a consensus that a variety of trends had to go. Based on your suggestions, I've rounded up the top-10 worst male fashion offenses.

A popular nightclub in Australia has decided to ban "metrosexuals" in an attempt to curb violence. Apparently a certain style of dress is enough to start a bar fight.

On the list of forbidden clothing items you will find low-cut v-neck t-shirts, skinny jeans, pointy white shoes, popped collars, and Ed Hardy tops. I think many of us would be happy to go to a bar with this type of restrictive dress code.

When trying out fashion trends, men can come off as trying a little too hard. The power jeans trend - the tendency to pair expensive-looking jeans with a blazer for an "I'm hip!" vibe - is another example. Which male fashion fad would you like to ban?

Oh Snap! Pakistan Shows Off Its Style

More color and less skin filled the runways yesterday during the first day of Pakistan's Fashion Week, an event that will feature over 30 Pakistani designers. Power Jeans For Men: "For a Whiff of the Laborer"

Where to begin? This Wall Street Journal article earnestly extols the rise of denim. On men. In the workplace. Even men whose workplace is the highest public office - the presidency.

What packs the punch into a pair of power jeans? I'll let WSJ tell it:

Chosen well, jeans can suggest the wearer is confident and modern. Traditionally cut blue jeans carry a whiff of the laborer about them so denim on a leader suggests a willingness to roll up the sleeves and dig in.

A whiff of the laborer? So it's a populist thing? Yet it goes on to say that any old denim doth not a power jean make. Why not? Because it's all about fit and fade, tailoring and length. Men's Fashion Director Eric Jennings at Saks suggests men keep their power jeans "dark and straight." That means no acid wash (Russian President Medvedev), no skinny (Barack Obama), and no embroidery (Nicolas Sarkozy).

So how does a VIP know when to put the power jean to work? A high-end boutique says if you have to ask, it's a no go. Here's my advice: just don't do it.

Today's Fashion World Might Have Passed Up Cindy

Standards of beauty might change with time, but I think most of us can agree that Cindy Crawford is a gorgeous woman. Even so, the classic late-'80s/early-'90s supermodel thinks that the 2009 fashion industry would have passed her up. Cindy told German magazine Bunte that her "big breasts, normal thighs, and toned upper arms" are not so desired anymore. She said: "I would not have become a supermodel in 2009. I look too healthy."

Cindy's probably onto something, considering even extremely thin models are being photoshopped to look impossibly skinny. Of course, Cindy isn't losing any sleep over any of this. She says now that she is in her 40s, she knows her "strengths beyond being pretty."

While there has been a recent push to use more normal looking women in fashion magazines, I don't think Cindy's goddess-like beauty would qualify her as average. Still, her healthier look could be a welcome change from the sickly figures we often see walking down the runway. Do you think models like Cindy could make a comeback in the near future?

Say What? Size 2 Model Canned by Ralph Lauren

"I have been working with them since I was 15 years old, since I was a teenager. So for me they were my second family . . . I was very hurt by this, and I don't think it's good . . . when young women look at this picture, they're going to think it's normal to look like that, but it's not."

- Filippa Hamilton on The Today Show, about being fired by Ralph Lauren in April for her "inability to meet obligations with us." Apparently, those obligations involved transforming her 5'8", 120-pound, size 2 body into bobble-headed alien proportions. (They told her agency she was too big for their clothes. Hmmm. What does that make the women who might buy Ralph Lauren clothes?) My response to this nonsense? Bring back the healthy models!

Men Enhance Their Packages With Padded Jeans

We've seen the man girdle, the murse, mancealer, and manty hose. Now we can add padded jeans to the list of products that make men the new women.

Body by Calvin Klein Jeans are pants that offer a "body-defining fit for an enhanced profile." How do they do this? With a padded fly area of course!

So now every time my eyes are drawn to a man's "bulge" I'll have to wonder if it's real!

Say What? Karl Lagerfeld on Moms and Models

"No one wants to see curvy women. You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly."

- Karl Lagerfeld weighs in on the never-ending debate about thin models. The once-overweight designer was responding to German magazine Brigitte's decision to use only "real women" as models. He disapproves. Based on his comments, it seems Karl doesn't think fashion is meant for a mom who might be carrying a little weight.

This isn't the first time a fashion icon has come to the defense of thin models by shifting the attention to overweight people. Anna Wintour said America should focus on obesity, and not anorexia, following a visit to Minnesota where she said people resemble "little houses."

Are you surprised Karl is so quick to discount the opinions of average women?

The standards for beauty have truly reached impossible heights. Now, not only do you have to be uberthin to be considered beautiful, you can't even be human!

Replacing stick-thin human models with feline ones, fashion line United Bamboo has given new meaning to "cat walk" with its limited edition 2010 calendar featuring little furries modeling its ready-to-wear line. (In case you're wondering - they're already out of stock!) I have to say, these cats do make the garments look quite fetching! And they're pretty good at smiling with their (cat's) eyes.
