If you've ever arrived at 8:15 to your 8 a.m. Jazzercise class, you know why this guy needed to rewrite the lyrics to the One Republic song Apologize to express the tragedy that is being too late to be let into your Jazzercise class. (On a side note, I had a straight male roommate who loved to go to step aerobics, and I always thought, now there's a dude who's comfortable with his masculinity!)

Flashback: Move Your Boogie Body

So many things from the high '80s have made a resurgence: skinny jeans, Members Only jackets, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cocked and oversized baseball caps. The one thing I don't see returning is the use of the word "boogie" in any unironic way. "Hey, wanna boogie?" Or, as it's used in this vid, "Move your boogie body." This aerobics video is even funnier than Heidi Montag's sendup of exercise videos from the past. Turn the volume up, folks; this one's a winner. "Find it. Feel it. Do it. Oom chicka oom chicka oom chicka oom chicka oom!"

Another One Bites the Dust (Treadmill Edition)

Perhaps there's something to the expression "viral video." Not only does it go viral on the Internet, spreading like a virus from one viewer to the next, but people also catch (like a disease) the desire to copy what they see. Take the "falling on the treadmill" video. How else can you explain video after video of dumdums hopping onto a fast-moving conveyor belt in the hopes of falling, so that they, too, can be ridiculed for it? (OK, in this next case "alcohol" seems to be the easier answer.)

They say that working out in pairs keeps the motivation up. So naturally, these feline friends give it a shot. (Hey guys, I think you're supposed to work out on different treadmills.) The "two-pawed" crawl that one of them exhibits is pretty cute, though. I may give it a try some time. Oh, wait . . .
