This is one odd name for an energy drink. (Yes, another one! Just what we need.) I don't know about you, but I want to feel like I just blew my life savings playing craps, did a pile of cocaine, and partied with hookers all weekend.

Ah, energy drinks. They quench your thirst, they wake you up, and — in the case of Steven Seagal's energy drink — they may even offer an "Asian experience." Since my last Energy Drinks: Real or Fake?

Though I've been known to knock back a couple cans of Tab Energy drink, I'm still astounded by the variety of highly caffeinated beverages in stores nowadays. From Nelly's Pimp Juice to Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt Energy Drink, there truly is something for everyone. But can you tell the totally unbelievable real names from the fake energy drinks?

Containing Tibetan goji berries and some other Asian ingredient to make it all "exotic," Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt Energy Drink is sure to give you a receding hairline you pull back tightly samurai style, the most smug attitude ever, and the desire to make clunkers like Under Siege. Drink up, peeps, you know you want to! (And what exactly is an "Asian Experience"?!)

As if any of us needs an anthem and an energy drink to rally us out of some stranger's bed for the long sprint home in last night's heels. The folks over at AMP Energy think we need a song of support and some caffeine for these dreaded walks of shame, but that's not what we need. We need to forget last night ever happened and get the hell home, like, five hours ago.

An anti-energy drink, eh? (As The Village Voice put it, "Isn't that already covered by a little thing called wine?") After reading more about this grape-flavored, carbonated beverage spiked with valerian and melatonin (known sleep aids) and then hearing that, according to the press release "...this calming drink was inspired by today's popular hip hop artists who embrace the much sought-after hip hop lifestyle that encourages people to capture a stress-free state of mind," I finally understand the tagline, "Slow your roll." They must mean eye-roll, cuz mine are rolling a mile a minute.

Pepsi's Amp Up energy drink (another one?!) has created a free iPhone app that gives players "up-to-the-minute info, feeds, lines" so that they can talk to their favorite kinds of women — "24 in all."
Basically, men can either get tips before they score, or they can upload details of their hookups as a result of these indubitably useful apps after they score. Nice touch, Pepsi.

Douches and Red Bull often go together, but not like this. Mandy Moore totally nails the '70s lady-commercial voice and the fashions in this parody ad for Red Bull Douche, "the world's first feminine hygiene product with Red Bull." Admittedly, I've sometimes wished I could mainline energy drinks — just not down there.
